A PLP falling on his sword? No way! They will blame the FNM Government going back to Ingraham for this failure. The PLP are incredible at two things... 1) spinning a story and 2) convincing their flock that their version of the story is somehow the truth - even if it involves an alien abduction.
Now would be a very good time to start defending it in the Media. Maybe you could locate our Prime Minister... what's his name again, hopefully he keeps his phone on while he travels, and he can maybe come out with a positive statement or two.?
I am still so confused. How can the Bahamian liquidators be begging the US courts to have the liquidation of a Bahamian company done here? You're the liquidators... you are in control of everything. Even if some US people put the property company into liquidation in Delaware surely they would need approval by the Bahamian liquidators to do so? If SBF or whoever started liquidation in Nigeria for example surely the Bahamian liquidators, who sit at the very top of the whole FTX group of Companies, wanted to change the jurisdiction of the liquidation then they would have every right to do that? Just start the liquidation process for FTX Property to The Bahamas.
Mr. Sears was certainly a good man but like most good men who go into politics, the system has destroyed him. Absolute shame. :( He's had a little angel on one shoulder and the entire weight of the PLP cabinet on the other. One saying confess and the other pressuring him to protect yet another huge and expensive blunder. Unfortunately in The Bahamas evil has again prevailed.
We already lost the war. It is not a far stretch to believe that SBF received a call and was asked to word the email to our AG as he did - especially the part 'if we don't hear from you we will proceed'. That's gangsta! Even though our AG didn't authorize it by not saying 'No' it was a nod to go ahead. Over hear he would get away with it by arguing 'I didn't respond' but in the US the courts would find him liable for not clearly telling him 'No'.
I wonder how our government contacted SBF during this time? They certainly are stupid enough to go it by phone (even though they have the ability to delete those records). And they wouldn't go there in person because Albany security would have those recordings. Hopefully SBF has kept his recordings? You know he kept some dirt on these politicians.

Please try and write a comment... maybe two... without mentioning the FNM. Focus on the problem at hand and how it affects us ALL.
