Young men please take note... you should not hang around with people who just got out of prison and/or have ankle bracelets on and who are being accused of murder. And if you do... don't complain when you are shot at by people trying to kill your 'friend'.
THINK!!!

Note: I'm pretty sure most of these murderer's on bail who are being shot are actually guilty. So... good. I'm glad they're being taken out. But maybe the police should do it so that there are no unintended victims? The pine barrens would be a great place to deal with the scum.

I have yet to drive down by Sapodilla restaurant (Nassau) to see what damage was done by where they had built up that break wall and put all of those different sized boulders on the seaside of the wall. But from what I hear that section stood up very well (maybe some boulders need to be added now?) compared to other parts of that same road (just before Travellers) where some of the break walls were replaced and most weren't.

Sickened says...

No infrastructure damage huh? You think that may be because the infrastructure hasn't been rebuilt since Dorian????
It is simply astonishing that Marsh Harbor was leveled in Dorian and yet they are rebuilding it exactly the same way with the same low sea walls and layout. I mean - what a perfect opportunity to make logical improvements but no. Are we stupid or just that f'ing lazy?

People need to get fired for letting shanty towns build up unchecked and for so long. The one in abaco is 250 acres now? How the F#$% does this happen?
Please post any details of when any of you may have officially reported any illegal houses being constructed so that we can take these ministries and leaders to court for not doing their jobs.
Leaving these shanty towns unchecked is criminal because whoever is in charge of oversight for the Bahamian public is facilitating in the known theft of electricity, the known contamination of our water table and land and the building of homes without necessary approvals in place. If these people get injured in the collapse of their poorly constructed homes they have every right to sue the government because the ministry knew about the construction and did nothing to inspect the building.
Imagine building a high-rise in Miami. If no-one comes out to stop or inspect you then whoever is in charge of inspection and policing will be going to jail. You simply can't watch a building go up and not be held responsible.

I think CCA headquarters for the region are in New York.

Don't worry John. We know exactly who you're talking about and so does Tal. It will all come out in the wash but as you say name and shame don't work around here so the supporters of THE most corrupt party will still be staunch, rowdy and blissfully ignorant.

That doesn't appear to have been very sturdy. Does any ministry inspect structures like that?

I guess our securities commission is working double overtime now. Yikes!!

See what I did there Birdie? I agreed with something bad without comparing it to something another party did way back when.
