This is crazy!!! If one of those engines break then we'll be on load shedding until it's fixed - probably days. If one of those engines is completely destroyed by lack of maintenance (the likelihood of which increases every day they are run) we will be on load shedding for probably 18 months because that's how long it will take to get a new engine now.
Focus on maintenance!!!! PLEASE!!!!

With all that grinin' I'm glad to hear that the plywood foundation's didn't break up. I guess gals weren't oversized!

Yay. That $1 million should get us a fairly decent $200k shelter.

This government will treat all Bahamians the same way every previous government has. Give us your money and shut the hell up.
The difference in the electorate is that the PLP supporters blindly support a PLP government even when the government is pissing on their head. **Most** FNM's (certainly not all) continue to question what's going on... they still get pissed on though, regardless of the party in power.
PLP supporters please do better at holding your party's feet to the fire. The liquid on your head is not liquid sunshine.

And they didn't even raise the damn thing off of the ground. 2 inches of rain and the inside of the dome is flooded. My mind is blown away by the constant laziness in thinking and in action. To treat a highly engineered and tested structure like a canvas backyard camping tent is the height of idiocracy!

Sickened says...

So the plan would have been to dismantle these domes, designed to withstand 135mph winds, if a hurricane came through last year? Because you certainly don't expect it to survive when placed on a piece of plywood.

Sickened says...

Could the government not build the domes on cement pads? Jesus Christ we just can't to anything properly.

The police should also look into the illegal cutting and burning of the pine forest. But they probably won't.

The houses probably on a slant because govt didn't put in on piles. The damn things starting to sink already?
In 5 years this same woman is going to be crying to the papers about the house falling apart and her furniture under water every time it rains. The more houses they put in that area means the less ground available for the absorption of rain water. Look at that road between AIP and Fresh Market. everything flooding now since those parking lots and buildings were built on the north side. The water has a lot less land available to recede into.

I hope the Bishop will keep some good records of where all the money goes. And he better not be seen driving no Bentley and flying in his own private jet.
