No more flood coverage for these poor folks. Next time it rains heavy the unfortunate home owners will be out of pocket for any damage. They had better keep some cement blocks on hand (to put their furniture on) and make their kitchen cabinets out of plastic.
This is crazy!!! If one of those engines break then we'll be on load shedding until it's fixed - probably days. If one of those engines is completely destroyed by lack of maintenance (the likelihood of which increases every day they are run) we will be on load shedding for probably 18 months because that's how long it will take to get a new engine now. Focus on maintenance!!!! PLEASE!!!!
This government will treat all Bahamians the same way every previous government has. Give us your money and shut the hell up. The difference in the electorate is that the PLP supporters blindly support a PLP government even when the government is pissing on their head. **Most** FNM's (certainly not all) continue to question what's going on... they still get pissed on though, regardless of the party in power. PLP supporters please do better at holding your party's feet to the fire. The liquid on your head is not liquid sunshine.
And they didn't even raise the damn thing off of the ground. 2 inches of rain and the inside of the dome is flooded. My mind is blown away by the constant laziness in thinking and in action. To treat a highly engineered and tested structure like a canvas backyard camping tent is the height of idiocracy!
So the plan would have been to dismantle these domes, designed to withstand 135mph winds, if a hurricane came through last year? Because you certainly don't expect it to survive when placed on a piece of plywood.
