If you approach a policeman with a deadly weapon then you run the risk of getting shot and getting shot to death. Mental illness cannot be used as an excuse as a policeman is not expected to know whether a person is mentally ill or on drugs etc. Policeman have the right to protect themselves just like we are if a mentally ill person breaks into our home in the middle of the night - we are not expected to first determine if they are mentally ill.

Better get these upgrades completed before the PLP get in. Once they in then all that money will never go towards products and supplies; only "services".

So... the Straw Market Authority 1) always had this money sitting in the account and chose not to pay any bills until now??? Or, 2) did the straw market authority recently come into a windfall (playing numbers?). Or, 3) were the debts written off?

I say 3 because we know that many straw vendors never paid their pittance of a fee because they stink like that.

Very irresponsible to encourage people to break the law and vandalize private property and then to trespass on private property.

Fellow Bahamians need to learn to respect the law. If we continue down this road then we will become a lawless society and beach access through private property will be the least of these vendors' concerns. Cause remember, people are allowed to protect their private property with force if necessary.
