Do we delay these trials on purpose so that they can be thrown out? Or, are we so incompetent as a nation that we just don't care to bring people to justice? Our legal system really doesn't give a flying duck about justice!!!

I see many people (of course with no signal on either way) still sitting on red lights with no traffic flowing and once the light turns green they proceed to turn left. WHY are so many of us still unaware of the ability to turn left on red? Nassau street is the perfect example - people coming north on Nassau street to Bay Street still stop once the light turns red even though they want to turn left AND knowing that the people traveling east on Bay Street have an advance green which means that there is still plenty of time for people to turn left on red. We have far too many morons in Nassau.
Asking Jitney drivers to drive these buses is insanity. You need somewhat educated, thinking, sensible humans to drive these buses - not Jitney drivers or taxi drivers. You also need older mature people who respect their life and the life of others. People who are courteous and helpful - not jitney drivers!!!
