Tal I haven't read your posts for many weeks now but I decided to try once again. I copied and pasted your text in Google Translate and got nothing. Can you please let me know your language so that I may translate it and perhaps enjoy your input? Thanks dready!
I too urge the webshops to stop paying taxes due; then the gaming board must revoke their licenses and the police can shut them down. Taxes remain unpaid until they are received by the taxing authority - escrow my a$$!
This exemption and the washing machine exemption are just terrible timing on their part. I don't mind the exemptions personally but it just stinks that they did it now. They should have waited a year before doing it.
The numbers criminals are the modern drug dealers of the 1980's where you had lawyers begging to represent them in order to make millions off of them. To the lawyers I say.... Milk em dry!
They need to install a sewerage system out west as well. The plant can be on gladstone road and run through South Westridge then North Westridge following the main road past Super Value and on to West Bay Street. You can then get all of Westridge hooked up as well as SandyPort, Delaporte, Bayrock, Harbor Mews, Chertsey and as far down towards BahaMar as you want.
Notable Bahamians? So this could be notable for their bad deeds or good deeds?
Notably good I would have to say people from social services (I don't know of any off hand) and environmentaly conscious people (such as from BREEF - Casuarina McKinney-Lambert) or George Maillis from Bahamas Protected Area Fund and even George's father - a long time protector of the environment.
Notably bad people - the *entire* former PLP cabinet; the legitimized numbers criminals; the many notorious drug dealers the Bahamas has produced - Dwight Major, Samuel Knowles etc.
Remember that Mr. Chipman is correctly speaking for his constituents. Also remember that his constituents voted in what's his face.... Perry... over and repeatedly, so...
That $47 million a year profit you speak of is so incredibly low. The big numbers criminals pull that in every single month... without fail. These criminal scumbags crying foul is a joke. They didn't open all of these shops to employ Bahamians, they opened them to make more money. Don't be fooled by these legitimized criminals!!

I must assume that McAlpine doesn't get a salary per se - and that his expenses are paid by a church - hence, no tax.
