Is the problem the teachers or the principal when students are not taught what is going to be on tests? Surely tests are not written for each school based on what teachers happened to have taught the kids during the semester. One would think that the teacher knows at the beginning of each semester what needs to be covered in order for kids to write the test at the end of that semester.
I think the principal should do a sick out until the teachers are ousted!
While I agree with you John, I seriously wonder how many open shops we would have downtown if the foreigners didn't come in and open up these 'jewelry' stores. I think that most stores would be shuttered; the cruise ships would really be screaming that there are no attractions for visitors. We may actually be lucky to have what we have. Sad!
The Bahamas has raised it's alert level of the entire United States of America to 2 because of a shooting at the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans and another mass murder school shooting in Florida. Bahamians should exercise 'increased caution' when choosing to attend ANY celebrations in the U.S. or considering sending their children to school in the U.S.
Do the farmers expect government to pay for ALL damage to their farms? Are the farmers not taking responsibility for replacing anything damaged by the hurricane's? Are they crazy?
Government is there to help. Not to completely (re)build and maintain a business for you.
This restriction has to be changed... so change it! Don't talk about it for 4 years. There have been studies done so arrange a meeting next week and then make a decision! Even if you only agree to 15 stories.
