At the FIFA beach soccer tournament, going on now, they announce exactly how many people are in attendance at each game while the game is going on... sometimes in the first period (i.e. 12 minutes into the game). When the Bahamas plays there's over 3,000 people in attendance. Our Carnival guys can't tell us the turn out number.... ever! If they don't know how many people showed up by now then they won't know how much $$ they should have collected and thus won't know if any money went missing. SOOOO unorganized and SOOOOO unprofessional!!!
And all of these concessions after we agreed to complete the resort. We probably owe CCA another couple hundred million dollars to complete and open the rest of the property. The PLP really fooked our country good.
If the FNM didn't have so many internal problems this would have been a slam dunk election and I would be looking to upgrade some things in my life. Unfortunately, as it stands now, I'm going to have more stress next week listening to the results.
It goes to show that in order to have an effective government you really need an effective opposition.
Why does the FNM answer Roberts' questions????? They just open themselves up for more crap!!! The only way to respond to Roberts is to say the EXACT same thing back to him. Do NOT take the high road with Roberts 'cause he WILL kick you in the balls. focus fnm!!!!
1. Baha Mar really isn't opened yet so let's wait for that before we run to S&P for a review. 2. Our VAT money paid for this so called 'opening' so any stimulus to the economy was through government funding and since government has no cash it was done through debt, which doesn't result in an economic stimulus.
