Who owned that land before the government acquired it? How much did the government pay for the land? Why were people building on land they knew they didn't own? Since you and I helped pay for the land, shouldn't we be entitle to plots as well?
Can we PLEASE get rid of the blue ink finger dunk? My god, we should be more sophisticated than friggin' Africa and other 3rd world countries. It is so degrading... it's like "we don't trus' you nigga!"
The horse got back up and walked away! Oh that's fine then, end of story. WTF! Falling down in the middle of the road is not normal. I bet you this horse got an extra half of a carrot last night and is back on the street today.
Another PLP failure. If only they were successful in one thing they promised us. What a shame. We not only wasted the last five years of our lives waiting for something good to happen, but the damage created by this current administration has made it so difficult to recover in the future. To simply get back to our debt levels of 2012 may take us 5 to 10 years. It is not looking good people. Thankfully though I know one person who is very happy with where our country is now... Birdiestrachan. I can only assume that you have been on your death bed for 4 and half years and are just grateful to be alive each and every day. Good for you. Stay positive buddy! Life can't get much worse I guess.
We are ALL thrilled that the hotel may be opening and that many Bahamians are being employed. We ALL hope that this hotel is a great success and that more tourists come to our country. What I (ME) am not thrilled about is not knowing when the hotel will actually open to paying guests and what the deal was to get this development to the stage it is at now. I am also very concerned about the hotel being open during the summer months when I have not yet heard that our power company has put additional power to support this hotel as well as our islands summer load. The last I heard was that two generators were being installed to help cover both our winter load and as a backup during maintenance. I am also concerned about how all the extra garbage generated by the hotel will be dealt with. Will it just be added to the fire? If so, may I suggest building a 500 foot tall smoke stack, paint it red and white and call it an energy plant so that tourists don't know that we are just burning our trash.
Girlfriend? Perry's giving him all he can handle at the moment. Ya boy may have been straight when he got married, but there's only one way into Perry's office, and that's on your hands and knees - naked (and you'd better back in through the door 'cause Perry don't want to see your face - so I heard.

A $5,000 per day for Unions who do not negotiate with common sense. That should put the Unions out of business fairly quickly!
