How does a someone so hot headed like Ferguson become a leader of anything. My God Bahamians like a non-sensical, irrational, boisterous fool to represent their best interests.
How does hurting the port and tourists there, tie in to hurting Atlantis? FOOL!!!

How about getting all the gang members together for a meeting and arresting all of them in accordance with our gang laws? Once they are behind bars then you can talk to them.

And for those people being monitored after serving their time, what's the punishment if they fail to recharge their ankle bracelet or check in to a police station? Are they going to be charged with some crime and be sent to prison? Do we even have a law on the books that would allow such a person to be charged? I don't think so. It's not like he's on bail and there are bail conditions that he must follow.
Just ridiculous!!!

Sadly the Research and Development Section of the Ministry of National Security is apparently too dimwitted to be able to create a sensible audit. I guess they will all be fired soon by Munroe?
So who exactly has a similar archipelago like ours that can be hired to head a man-power audit? Maybe the Philippines? It may be hard to find someone there that is willing to disperse 70% of the contracted amount though - they tend to be very honest people.

Middle Class? We can stop using that term as there are only a few dozen families that fit in that category now. Many of the middle class have left the country over the last 10 or so years and of those that remained a few made it to upper class and the vast majority are now stuck in the lower class. Our economy is in shambles. Tourism just replenishes the government coffers and keeps the mostly lower class citizens employed.

How many things are wrong with Munroe's comment. I am all for severely harsh punishments for criminals and highly support the death penalty and flogging, BUT I don't see how it can be considered legal to electronically monitor someone who has served their time.
If someone is considered a dangerous criminal then certainly the length of time they are remanded should reflect how dangerous they are. If the court considers them too dangerous to be in public then sentence them to life in prison. Don't release them and think an ankle device, where the criminal is responsible for recharging that device, is a serious option. We all know that the monitoring system is highly flawed.

This doesn't have to be the PM's personal priority. Perhaps he can tell one of his hundreds of personal staff to make it a priority. delegate Fool!!!

You have a great point Birdie. Whether or not we have a rocket and/or fire it is meaningless to the US government or population. A point in fact is the supposed weapons of mass destruction in Iraq.

So now it looks like we are protecting SBF by 1) not agreeing to further charges and 2) not even starting legal proceedings here. Plus we don't even have campaign contribution laws on our books, and probably never will, thereby attracting these sorts of shady characters to our shores.
We are ending up looking even worse than SBF. Shameful.

None of our political parties are in any rush to implement this. Governing parties do not like to be investigated. And neither do former governing parties. This club protects its own.
