It is unfair to blame Dr Johnson, BOC etc for athletes not receiving subvention funding. Subvention works like this: federations apply for promising athletes to receive support, once approved the government then pays the federation who then pays the athlete. Anyone who works with government knows that government cannot give money to anyone who has not filed their paperwork properly. The Bahamas swim Federation has not gone through the proper procedure to receive the funding. Look closer to home to find someone to blame. I know it's political season but don't cast blame on people whose hands are tied by the system. Shameful
