Not only is the government not collecting taxes, but there are clear cases of fraud going on with government contracts being issued. Someone needs to go to jail or at the very least be fired!

We really need transparency in this country, particularly on very important issues. Unfortunately it seems they will do what our government (PLP & FNM administrations) usually do; make the decision behind closed doors and defend it come hell or high water, while the people suffer.

A PR firm has just layed out the blueprint that almost every foreign investor is likely using to minipuate this country and its government and you have nothing to say about it.
The problem is stuff like this happens all the time in The Bahamas... young girls are considered fair game if their bodies are developed. Nothing is done about it, so some Bahamian guys (18 to early 20s and even older sometimes) treat it as normal to pursue under-aged girls.
LOL... this is laughable. Look, the US government is putting pressure on the Bahamas to do this because American companies like HBO have been complaining that they can not get paid for use of their products.
It's obvious that we have to do something to stop the wholesale pirating of interllectual property, but to try to sell it as protecting our bush medicine and straw plait? Man I dunno, lol.
What I'm concerned about is this "cutting edge" and "trailblazing" talk. Ingraham blazed a trail and killed off an entire industry (off shore banking) while other caribbean islands continue to thrive.
