So Tal, what "non tendered contracts" has the Minnis Administration issued? Put up or shut up!
With you the defense is always, "Well we may be crooks but so are the others." Or even better, "Since Dr. Minnis has not cleaned up 40 years of unfettered corruption in government in five months, he's a total failure."

When will this poor land free itself of the defense "He did it so I can do it." If there was FNM corruption in the last government, let the police investigate and if they find crimes let them be prosecuted, but this laughable conflation of "conflicts of interest" with outright, brazen theft from the public treasury is risible. What was going on in the PLP government with the full knowledge if not complicity of Mr.Davis over the past five years was nothing short of an open, gangland style rape of the country and everyone who was present during the past three years of serial exposure of these outrages knows it.

Perfect idea. Just like the laws in Chicago. Working well there too. Are you kidding? The criminals don't give a hoot what gun laws you pass. We already have very strict laws making possession of the kind of guns used in crimes illegal. That has no impact on these criminals. What the Bahamas needs is a strict RICO type statute that would permit the incarceration of all gang members for the acts of any one of them. There is zero evidence that guns legally maintained on transient boats have anything to do with our problem.

This is your typical rant. "Don't deal with crime in front of your eyes. Someone else might have committed a crime ten years ago." What difference does that make? This country is lost unless the political class is purged of these crooks whatever color their T-Shirt. It is no excuse for the outrageous corruption of the past five years, for you to cry about what some former politicians did or did not do. Now is now!

Allegations of murder for hire: "There is nothing to investigate here."
Did police interview the alleged victim's? No.
Did police interview the alleged instigator, a PLP money man? No.
Did police do a follow-up investigation of the two miscreants who claimed, under oath that they were hired to commit murder? No.
Some investigation. Some Commissioner of Police.
Totally corrupted by PLP. Get him out.

When you have nothing else, hide behind the dead. What a pathetic rant. If there were any justice in this world he would go straight to jail!

The government will have to seek cooperation from U.S. authorities as all these guys have off shore stashes. Sadly the legal mouth pieces of this world are all handsomely paid from the ill gotten gains of their clients. The money is likely gone. What is important is that a lesson is learned and these top fish go to jail. The corrupt practices must be stopped, and the only way is if those at the top are punished.

Everyone here, most certainly that should include Mr. McCartney of the loud noise, no action camp, needs to take a deep breath and give the government some time. Dr. Minnis is working in a professional way. There is a great deal of fact finding that must precede any decision on legal filings or civil suits. The degree of corruption and just plan chaos that Mr. Christie and his minions imposed on every sector of Bahamian society makes this process very difficult and will require much time to sort out. Meanwhile there is a government to run. Please stop all this nonsense about "nothing being done". It is being done and for the first time in this country's independent history, it is being done the right way.

"The real injury is that someone would be so insensitive as to post and circulate such a video." Really? The real injury is that the video exposes the PLP for what it is, a party of thugs!
