Probably someone looking for their land papers for a mortgage they paid off 2 years ago. I've heard with several banks (i cant say RBC) you pay off your loan and it goes years before you get the conveyance back.
The fun part is, there is NOBODY in government you can plead with or beg. They say you must hire a lawyer.
So any of you out there thinking you wanna pay off your house next year and then sell it - think again!!!
"...and I was amazed, astonished and happy that, that enterprise, Nassau Agencies, had gone totally green; solar. "
Why didn't he call the Chief of Police to come and place them under arrest? It is illegal to generate that much solar power. He proposed legislation to correct this a few weeks ago but has gone quiet. Why are some allowed to break the law while others have to pay BP Hell?
"...he National Energy Policy (NEP) has listed as one of its goals, to, by 2030,"
We can't wait until 2030. He obviously intends to lose the next election...or better yet, maybe Loretta will come and toss him out once more.
I would bet the security guards brought the issue up LONG time ago long before this incident. But they only $1.50/hour security guards - nobody gah listen to them.
I am no fan of this secretive administration, but i must give them credit for the murder rate being below 100. Congratulations. It has been many years since it was below 100.
If the murder rate had doubled over last year people would be laying the blame at his feet. So give him credit for the opposite people.
Again, i do not support them because they will not report where our money is going. Secret loans, secret expenses, secret accounts etc. That is a path to dollar devaluation.
1. Cleanup the warf and paint and ting 2. Get the bums and babbits from 'round there 3. Stop subleasing straw market booth to Haitian 4. Give businesses 50% off NIB payments and 20% off business license fee if they stay open until 11pm 5. Put 4 FREE open-air tram trolley going back and forth from Nassau Street to Mackey Street 8am to 11pm.
I'm sure NONE of the above will be done and cleaning up the warf will be a campaign promise again in 2022.

He probably asked them for a job. People in Freeport are just tired of being asked about jobs when everyone ought to know there simply are no jobs.
