I disagree with these protesters. When you compare our standard of living here against most African countries, we are clearly living in a paradise.

People need to thank God for life and be quiet.

No sir. Im sure the Judge has a very good reason for keeping this man in prison.

I did not say he was innocent. Some people im sure would like to know how you can be guilty without being charged with a crime. That is the point of the article.
However, we have no right to that information. There is no guarantee in the Constitution that we be informed of why we are imprisoned. Any Bahamian at any time can be placed in prison and no Judge is required to give reason or answer to nobody.

On the contrary, i even suggested he may be the worst of the worst.

Finally, i must agree with you that "loose cannons" do not help any situation. Im sure whatever he did wrong will determine how long he is held. He will be released on the day of his release.

So he's just thinking of this after two years? Has he ever heard the name Graham Wratherford? Anybody know how he ever passed his medical exams? Drivers license test, for that matter.

This kind of thing is truly mind boggling. I cannot imagine what goes on in the minds of these MPs. Is surviving a botched brain surgery a requirement to be a candidate?

Seriously, im not trying to be disrespectful. Im just really and truly lost. Did he just arrive in the Bahamas like a week before election and is just playing catch-up on the issues?

I could do a better job with one of my brains tied behind my back.

Maybe he's "the worst of the worst"?? Check with the Privy Council, they might approve his hanging. We can't seem to hang murderers, maybe switch to hanging innocent people? I'm willing try anything at this point.

Shouldnt we turn off the light on Nassau runways too? I mean we shouldnt allow drug smuggling in Nassau. Or is it some kind of monopoly thing?

Actually, why don't we turn off ALL lights of all kinds no matter where they are located in the Bahamas? Street lights, house lights (plenty already off anyhow).

Turn them all off. It will dramatically reduce power bills and assist foreign exchange pressure.

Lights off now!!! Lights off now!!! Say it with me!!! Lights off now!!!

A preview of our future as we are quickly becoming
Haiti #2. I myself have applied for residence in Zimbabwe. I believe life will be better there than here in 2 years. Luckily the application only takes 7 months.

Any chance he has any Haitian heritage? He should just claim to. Say his mother's father's father was Haitian. Claim racism and contact the well known Q.C. Likely be out of prison in time for turkey dinner.

Yall should have done that while in power. People been begging for this long time. Please don't think people will be stupid enough to vote for you because you promise this in the next election.

Just like FNM "transparency". A promise is a comfort to a fool. We still looking for the VAT money.

Next election i am getting together 39 bums off the street and personally paying all their $400 candidate fees. We will be the DNP. The "Do Nothing Party". We will promise to do nothing. People will vote for us just to get the FNM & PLP out of office. They know they will get nothing - but that's what they gonna get with you three Parties - so who cares?

TheMadHatter says...

You are probably right. BUT the problrm is those same frustrated voters WONT go out and vote for an independent. Staying home hiding under your bed wont stop the boogie man from eating your cookies.

The people will vote PLP or independent. At least with the PLP we know what they about. With this "transparency" crew you can't see thru the smoke. The DNA seems to be DOA.
