Thank God that Minnis had the sense to put someone as smart as Carl Bethel as our AG. I see a position as PM in Carl's future.
It is time for the soldiers of this invading army to be dealt with. Follow in the steps of Hungary, Pohland, Czechoslovakia, and now most recently ... Italy.
Mr. Smith having dreams of chocolate sundaes and apple pie again?
Listen, nobody cares about these people who have no status - even their parents. Even they themselves - because they grow up have kids themselves who consequently have no status. The no-status people having (breeding) more no-status people.
That's their choice. Let them create a whole community of no-status people, and cry and moan about their poor problems of having no status. They chose that path.
They need to be dealt with, deported, or moved to a cay in Exuma somewhere to live amongst themselves. Because, otherwise, when their population reaches 30% they will go crying to some insane U.N. agency to come and help them - claiming they are discriminated against, treated unfairly, and just in general that they have not been allowed to come in here and take away the Bahamas from Bahamians and take over - and can't the world see how unfair that is? Why should Bahamians be allowed to have the Bahamas all for themselves? We are Haitians - we overpopulated our tiny half island, and now somebody else has to give us more land for our childrens' feets to stand on. To Hell with everyone else, only Haitians matter. That will be their story in a nutshell.
CatIslandBoy....don't have to "go figure". Yes other nationalities come here and work illegally and are not "treated with such disdain".
The reason is that the hate is not based upon them working illegally. The Haitians are hated because they come here and engage in a breeding war. It is clear their goal is to outbreed us and take over our country under the mantra of majority rule.
Jamaicans, Dominicans and T.I. people don't come here to take over. That's why we cool with them.
Correct licks2, and the other thing is why is he always referred to as a human rights attorney when he only seems to raise his head when Haitian "rights" appear to be threatened? Should he be called a "Haitian Rights Attorney"? Just asking.
Any word on whether candidates for Party positions will be allowed to speak at Party Conventions?
Last time Sears wasn't allowed to speak to attendees before the vote, was refused a list of delegates with their phone numbers. Even Perry claimed he was not allowed to speak - LOL.
Notice how none of that is handled by these new "rules" and even if it were proposed...would it take effect prior to this year's vote - which would allow Sears to speak this time?
“At the same time, unless we receive suitable undertakings which we can lay before the court, our clients will apply for an urgent injunction for the purpose of maintaining the status quo pending trial or until further order of the court,” Mr Smith wrote.
Meanwhile, happenings at Fox Hill continue to be ignored. Poor Bahamians, yall ain't gots no ombudsman neither no free attorney.
Exactly. no information. If you look at ourfnm dot org it is still talking about the campaign. We in power now, yall can suck teet.
People are not going to wait five years for answers anymore. These guys really need to put some financial figures on that website like yesterday.
This 12% sounding like it gonna need to be 20% before these guys are done borrowing and spending and borrowing again. Why not Minnis just resign and let the president of the IDB be our PM in his spare time. Whata the difference?
"The country will join a host of nations to commemorate the day under the theme: ‘Responding to the trafficking of children and young persons and to hell with the old'.
Wow.
Mrs Knowles said: “Many times persons are enslaved and they’re not even aware..."
Doesn't that apply to like 70% of Bahamians?
The thing is when kids are popped out like Kentucky box along the road - there's so many people can't keep up, and often parents are willing to sell their children a.k.a. sexual bi-products.
This is a jolly waste of time. The best solution here is the same as with drunk driving - educational campaigns.
Make up a nice commercial to run on ZNS and Cable Bahamas info channel - show some footage from previous crashes - show a pic of what a real pilot's license looks like from Bah USA Canada Mexico Cayman Jamaica. Explain the risks, the difference in experience hours for various pilot quals.
Let people make up their minds whether or not to risk their lives just like they do every Friday night when they stumble out of a bar at 2am.
STOP wasting our damned 12% on foolishness please.
geostorm.....no, people don't have time for all kinda fool application forms designed to turn them into beggars. We been fishing on the rocks all this time - we can keep fishing. Let the govt hire Haitian contractors - they don't need no permits for nuttin.
