Yes. Your crystal ball obviously has fresh batteries. Bahamians will soon be taking to rafts and heading south to Haiti where at least they can grow some vegetables, or get free food at the detention center down there.
The middle class is going to die because we are being asked to pay to help raise the 7 children that the cash register lady at the fast food restaurant (making $180 per week) has.
There needs to be a big facility on Andros that takes care of babies and children, and whenever someone has a baby the child should be taken and put there and held by Government until the parents can pay a $5000 birthing fee. If you don't have $5000 in a fixed-deposit at the bank these days, you simply do not have enough money to even begin raising a child.
Sounds like a lot of planning and drawing and scratching of heads. Did anyone of them think to consider that this would not be the very first neighborhood drainage system to exist on the planet Earth and perhaps get some plans or solutions from other places abroad and then simply tweak them a bit to fit the Pinewood specifics?
Kinda like the airport in Abaco - which has a control tower than cannot be used because it is too short, and an upstairs level that cannot be used because there is no fire escape. I'm sure if they had check on other airports - like in the Caymans, Aruba, St. Lucia, Nova Scotia Canada, etc. they would have easily learned the minimum height of a control tower, and also whether or not fire escapes are required by the FAA. In fact, a lot of high school students in the Bahamas could have looked up this info for them online. But, heck, it was only $28 million and it wasn't their money anyway - so who cares. In this case now it's only $13 million and it ain't their money either.
The PM ain't got time for this. Remember he's also the Minister of Finance, and the Chairman of all kind of committees and tings. He's a busy dude and he ain't got nobody to help him. There's less than 40 MP's to run this large, disjointed country.
We need to increase the house to 300 MPs. Then they will have no excuses, and also then you might be able to meet with one of them "busy" people.
I have no sympathy for SD car rental operators. They are members of a secret society. The Govt agencies will not release a listing of SD plate numbers by island and the name of the person or company that owns each plate.
Take any plate number on any island (SD plates) and try to find out who owns it. You cannot. You can ASSUME that because it is parked on the car-lot of Ferguson's Car Rental (fake name) that the plate belongs to that company or perhaps to Mr. or Mrs. Ferguson - but I assure you that just like Taxi plates - you have a significant risk of being wrong.
Until they are willing to come out "into the sunshine" and stop being so secretive - I have no love for them.
All this means is that the people who are going to get the benefits are NOT the ones who pay - just like it is now. When you go to PMH or any clinic who do you see filling up the seats? You think their bosses is declare them and pay national insurance? Of course not - so there won't be any 1% deduction from them - but they will get all the doctors and all the medicine - just like now - except even more.
I guess the prison population must be majority Bahamian - so nobody cares. Where is the voice of the Christian Council on this? Why don't they bring out 5000 members EVERY Sunday and surround the prison gates and sing songs and stuff after church service or instead of even having church service? It's nice cool weather now - perfect for that sort of thing. Even invite some lunch lady vans to come and sell drinks and food to the crowd.
They only seem to care about gay cruise ships.
The strange thing is, they actually believe that Jesus is going to allow them to see his face.

I can't be bothered with VAT at all because of the inclusive pricing - it is just too confusing and too expensive.
Most things that I buy I get from the stores in the shanty towns. Somehow (I don't want to guess) their prices are just so much better.
