Maybe the PM or DPM can just order the police to come around and shoot all of us dead? That might be a simpler and less costly process to achieve the same goal? Then the WTO, the Haitians, the Guatemalans, and whoever else wants to come and take over our country will be free and clear to do so. Don't bother with all this mumbo jumbo. Just speak the truth up front and act accordingly.
Didnt we just celebrate independence on July 10th????? lol lol lol lol. No dancing in the streets now. Every year the government fools the people into dancing and every year the dumb people of the Bahamas get up and dance. I dont blame government for doing nothing. Happy dancing people? They dont have no problems.
So Mitchell should have said "Not only will we comply with the Fiscal Resposibility Act, but we will also amend it to give it teeth and consequences for breeches; something this current government does not have the guts to do. They are clearly afraid of their own shadows."
"...but questions must be asked about the circumstances that led to the incident spiralling out of control."
The article answers its own question. It points out how the young man called the officers "jokey". How did that idea get in his head? Simple. These people come here having been told by those who came before them "Come on man!!! Come to the Bahamas. We have all the rights here. One big time lawyer is protect us. We got free land, free phone minutes, free food from the churches, free power, zero VAT tax on our select food choices, free clinic, free school. On top of that nobody, not even officials, can say nothing to us or ask us any question or else the whole world jumps on them for 'violating our rights'. Bahamians are dogs. We rule. We got 2 in the House already."
We need a Constitutional amendment that says if 60% of voters spoil their ballots then the election is void and the Queen sends a Governor to rule for one year and new elections held at that time. If 60% spoil again then he/she remains another year. Then these Parties might try to find some better candidates to run and potcakes will stop barking.
