Alcohol used to be illegal. It's the worst drug I've ever known. Seen completely awesome people turn into devils after a few. When marijuana is legal, what will you base your argument on once you cannot call someone who smokes a "criminal"? Read about it. You're misinformed.

Well, if all else sucks, at least there's Fish Fry?

Character has much to do with what a man has proven capable of.

I'm sure he's great at what his profession is but that's neither here nor there. I'm so sick of government officials defending these people with poor morals who are supposed to either represent or teach the community.

Clearly, it's not about the drugs being so "bad" because all the magistrate wanted is for them to pay up. Revenue collection, any way they can get it.

I know some very active, motivated, successful smokers. I can understand your cynicism as the propaganda against this plant has been very effective.

Totally agree with your points. Sure, once we have a system that is uncorrupted, I'd be open to giving them more money. At the moment we have plenty hands in the cookie jar and moving back and forth with the same people "in charge" from one election to the next... Just legalize it, let the free market rule. More money in Bahamian's pocket instead of government's. Governments do less for the individual than the individual can do for himself.

You'd rather government thieving from its people? Good, you pay their increased payrolls come VAT season while we opt out.

That has much to do with our cost of living! Stop using the average citizen to fund politicians' exorbitant paychecks and inept deficit spending and the citizen will have more in their savings account.

No to WTO. No to VAT. No to expansion of government!
