Yet do you believe an increase of up to 20% (just the start of this new tax regime) will make sense? Obama has been printing money like water flowing.. What do you think is happening right now? Do you think keeping us on this debt ride is smart? There are choices here.

JFK

Not necessarily. Depends who wants you imprisoned.

Absolutely.

Stay away from alcohol. Marijuana doesn't make people too angry. There is a liquor store on every corner of Nassau, if you want to talk about drugs.

I personally don't care what the stats say, I don't feel safer, and neither does anyone else I know that lives here. The US issues warnings every few months, the same ones, with similar stories of frightening robberies and other violent crimes. The dent that is made in the crime is not worth even mentioning, as it's the same rhetoric spewed each time the US issues a warning to its citizens. Hire properly trained outside forces along with adjustments to the penal system and move on with the growth of an honorable society. Why is Big Gov stalling and averting The peoples' wants and needs over every major issue?

Ruin the seabed and there will be no more tourists soon. Government is planning for billion dollar spending in "climate change", yet they won't even attempt to intervene in the current man-influenced destruction of Bahamian land and sea. In fact, they welcome it.

Why doesn't the States use VAT? Anywhere? Why aren't we looking at Vegas as an example? No income tax, no Vat. Only sales tax and hospitality tax. Oh and voluntary tax thru lottery. Sounds like they don't really want any alternatives.

Yes, but the truth of the matter is that VAT is not the answer. Voluntary tax is. They know this but it requires an admittance that we are going to remain a free nation. Government nor the IMF nor outside nations like the US really wish that we remain free. They are doing everything in their powers to create more poverty and debt. Can you trust this government to get us out of debt? Not a chance. Increase taxes due to excess government spending? Guaranteed.
