Dats the point. "*Rescue*" missions often are. Governments collapse and diplomatic staff have to be evacuated by any means necessary because they become targets of the militants who've taken over

bait and switch. this is why nothing works in this country. The goal is always to deceive and hide the real objectives. "*No, never, this is not carnival! This is our unique Bahamian festival*"

You need to look at your food quality. I was a regular buyer prior to COVID and the food was absolutely delicious. Hands down the best Bahamian restaurant in town. I was out west last month and decided to purchase a meal, it was horrible. The grilled corn wasnt even worth eating, shriveled and cold and no real corn kernels to speak of, the rice was clumped together and cold, the chicken was cold and I dont know what that was that was served as macaroni. The macaroni used to be so good I would opt to purchase it for Christmas dinner as opposed to baking, good as Mother used to make it with all the veggies. And the food was cold. What happened??? I actually ending up getting sick. Did the chef change? Is the good food reserved for the people your servers decide to give it to? I hope you get back to pre-COVID quality it used to be delicious food.

I did not know a helicopter could travel that far over open water... but logically I guess its precisely what the Coast Guard does all the time

Lol. There've been quite a number of illegal landings to rescue stranded soldiers and citizens throughout history. It makes for good movies. "*Behind Enemy Lines*"

And the next thing these Bahamians talking about "*good*" gangs in Haiti need to stop. These guys are raping women and children and murdering and torturing men in the street. Theres nothing good about it.

The really troubling thing here is this reconsideration is actually being promoted as "thinking". Nothing about Haitis instability has changed. Haiti was in the middle of a guerilla warfare when the PM and the national security minister began talking about a "safe/low risk" deployment. Theres no such thing in a guerilla war. You go or dont go and you prepare yourself that someone could be captured or killed, to not do so and sell fairy tales is irresponsible.

I dont know. But when we discover why all food and TVs that show up in the Bahamas are foreign made we might be on to something
