No, I'm not going to advocate "harassment" of any marginalized community. There is a language barrier, the **plan** has to include a *targeted* message that reaches that community. They do the same when a hurricane is looming, they did the same for COVID. It's called "*strategic planning*"

If I was advocating for harassment of migrants I would not have said, "*it's worth more to have people use roads correctly than play gatcha*". I would have instead said yeah catch all dem migrants who dont know how to drive, but **I'm well aware that Bahamians drive badly, that's why the reeducation is for everyone with language specific messaging *targeted* to migrant communities**

Also before the technology launch have a massive reeducation campaign. Target immigrant populations as well. It is worth more to the state to have people use the roads correctly than play games of gatcha.

No sidewalk parking, no uturns, give way, no scooting into the traffic circle to beat cars coming around the roundabout within 1sec of you, give way turning left on red, no 3rd lane on a dual carriage way, slow moving traffic takes the left lane, no driving over medians to turn around

Ok. How many cars do they estimate passed through the area? How many officers were standing around for 3 hours? What was the cost of that? What was the nature of these violations? How many of them were severe? 38 sounds very low for a dragnet operation. Use technology for traffic violations please. Technology with a maintenance plan and dont go with these companies that throw out million dollars prices like peanuts, assess what's being given the cost of the infrastructure, do an audit to determine if they purchased what they said they would at the quality they said they would, see who's on the payroll and if they're qualified for the job, if they're executing the job as they're allegedly being paid, these are the kinds of things we need to do to bring law and order and weed out corruption.

Marco's alert was a 6000 per year initiative for infrastructure. For manpower, the police force is monitoring the alerts so maybe 4 technicians at a cost of 200k. But we paid 4.3m for a 3 year contract. When we send these RFPs we need to know beforehand the approximate value of what we're asking for. If you need someone to build a spaceship they could charge what they want is only one of them. But text messaging for 4m dollars? Seriously?

A Mexican female was raped on Paradise island on Jan 27, the report didnt say if she was a tourist or resident.

Avoidance is a normal human reaction. When Bahamians heard about an employee being shot at a gas station in East St South guess what happened? According to the owner business took a dramatic nose dive. We cannot then say why the tourists dont want come off the ship crime only over in this corner. While we can make these micro distinctions between east west north and south, to the tourist this all Nassau. In some cases every island is Nassau.

It's called grace.

All of us get it in some form because noone is perfect. But there's always a price to pay for the life we lived even with grace, for some it might be a physical deformity for some an illness,, for some its reputational damage and for some it's the loom of a grudge.
