The difference between a tourist and a local is generally speaking, a tourist doesnt know where "not" to go. Thats what creates the fear on their side. To them, anywhere and everywhere beomes "dangerous". Millions live safely in Japan but let a clueless Bahamian take a trip there. go sight seeing, get thirsty and walk into a small shop that just happens to be the headquarters of the ruling Yakuza boss. It's all PR. Our governance is about a 5 year plan to create a cover for a get rich quick scheme. No, everyone is not in on it. Some people are unknowing dupes (us included) thinking ok, they're finally doing something, or Im working for my country and this thing I'm doing matters! when in fact it's all just cover to make it to May 2XYZ as a self made "*success story*"
Btw next to Crime Prevention and *if you see something say something* post firing of *saying sonething* Directirs of Immigration and Transport, Climate change is the most elaborate cover ever conceived.

Assume that your brain is right on this. Dont you think the Commissioner by now should have sent out a very strong warning about illegal use of the RBPF logo and investigated who forged the document? That would be a very serious crime.
Corruption is so steeped in this country that the top levels of govt services are likely staffed by people who simply got political promotion. At minimum we need to change the way we select the Commissioner. The Commissioner should not be the PM's hand picked man checking in with the office before he acts on complaints. All of this leads to what we see today. The "straw". The camel down the road in a pothole with a broken back.
The govt has been at this for let's say 40years? By now just like any business they should have figured out their customer ebb and flow cycle and adjusted processes to suit. A printer not working does not cut it as an excuse. A move to another location 2.5 years in does not cut it. 30 million dollars on digitization for this? Inexcusable. This is the result of bad design and coopting someonelses innovation and implementing it badly.
Add to this the police's decision to implement road blocks. Whose idea is this? It's a giant waste of time because the likelihood that someone couldnt get a drivers license printed, couldnt get a license plate couldnt get their car licensed has increased 1000 fold, meaning youre wasting your time checking non-issues and affecting every business in the country holding up all the workers.
