That's a stretch, theres nothing to suggest it was as n EV. We've had numerous car fires before EVs came on the market

Ignoring the content, I think it's clear passage of the bill was rushed in a sacrificial attempt to change the 65 Chinese Bell/Cooper fiasco. Nobody forget Bell refuse to answer questions and either he or Chester Cooper told something that didnt resemble the truth.... I see 3 Chinese men charged with human smuggling in the Berry Islands, how is that even possible? That community must have like 20 people

"*The U.S. Coast Guard is warning the shipping industry of the extreme risk of loading electric vehicles with damaged Lithium-Ion batteries onto commercial vessels.*"

"*As CTIF.org has reported before, saltwater exposure can harm Lithium-Ion batteries, and cause a chemical reaction which creates a high fire risk. This was discovered in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian when a large amount of EVs with damaged batteries caught fire in southern Florida.* -ctif.org 02/2023

You just might be a source of truth. Odd that this has never crossed any news station here considering our exposure to salt water even in non hurricane situations like when the only causeway from Bay St to affluent Western Nassau was flooded with about 1ft of sea water. It would be good to find out if that is sufficient to damage the battery or if the car has to be submerged/exposed for a length of time. The next question to answer is what's the plan for public education and disposal of batteries . I do recall Pia Farmer mentioning training sessions they had with Fire Department, I hope it involved putting out an actual fire as a PowerPoint might be inadequate. Then what about the Family islands....

What I see happening is as lot of people riding the tech bandwagon who really know nothing about technology.

What they do have is a connection in govt, a nice business suit or a "*presence*". And they all make the same fundamental mistakes. All of them. No clearer evidence than the Central Bank that won an innovation award creating a moratorium in a tech segment then going whole hog rolling out a cashless program at the international food festival that was largely a failure. They have since made a 180 degree turn away from the word "*cashless*". Other examples ClickToClear. The Food Program. MyGateway. Marco's Alert.

If you watch Shark Tank, when tech proposals come up, the first thing those guys want to know is whether the entrepreneur has any tech experience, **what kind** it's not all equal, and for how long. Because they know...

So I dont wish any of these persons any fall in income. But these were the very people who capitalized off of COVID profiteering, along with the food stores, they crowed about how good business was, they were seeing profits never seen before. So I wish them recovery, but I also wish them that when the good times come remember the people

I believe we've been brainwashed into thinking that we dont have it. Hubert Minnis may have been reckless but his corruption figure at the UN may have been too low. Corruption requires increased taxes.

What country leader commits forces without consulting the military leadership? This isnt a game.

Well if they was in somebody bag or in a waterproof plastic bag in the toilet (sorry, I like detective series) they wouldnt have left the building. I note they didnt say, "*we found them exactly where we expected to*" ROTFL
