Patrols car are in a different category. They travel at high speed with a very high risk of running into any number of objects. Ships dont have the same risk under a skilled navigator.

They could probably reduce patrol car damage if they used technology, but the way things go in this country, someone who knows nothing about tech but has a nice suit and knows someone, will get the contract amd provide a system that produces *something* but doesnt have the impact it should.

Training and risk management is the only way to prevent ship damage... well there was that RBDF vessel that was rammed, on dry dock, by a South American vessel a few months after a South American woman claimed she was raped at the detention center... so there's that

It sounds good in theory but I dont see how its feasible for family islands their infrastructure is too unreliable

ThisIsOurs says...

I'm not sure if that's feasible. 50 people on Ragged Island? Might be 100 now. The banking association as a whole could create a mobile solution where they have a schedule for each island. They could use some infrastructure that's already in place. Years ago money orders through the post office was a common thing

Very good. I wonder who's idea it was, I hope the individual got some form of compensation, recognition at this event, rather than the minister being front and center as if it was their initiative, would have also been a good thing. You need to highlight and reward people who innovate to encourage more to do so. In doing that youll start to transform govt. Transformation originates from the brain.

They never told us how many shots were fired. They didnt mention if the dog was dead or alive. Poor dog it did nothing wrong. Its likely one of multiple bullets fired ricocheted off of some hard surface near the dog. I thought police primary objective was de-escalation, but they literally went in and immediately started shooting up the place.

Theyre living life like a hurricane just passed through and the electricity and internet are down everywhere. I dont know how the govt forces a bank to open a non profitable branch perhaps the idea suggested of a mobile branch might work.. they have to move the money to the ATM anyway...

This is **not** climate change. This is a flood zone next to some body of water that **predictably overflows** after a week or so of rain. Which happens repeatedly. There's a documented overflow in 2009

multiple news outlets are showing pictures of the exact same location. This says that this area has to be Exuma's Pinewood. An area where noone should have been allowed to construct a home. PM Davis needs to get serious, stop riding on climate change speeches and address town planning and multi generation long flood areas
