Hmmm... is this a favour or is this the appointment of the best person for the job?
"*Davis administration wants someone at the helm of ZNS who has a close relationship with Mr Davis and administration members and who could help ensure the government’s message reaches the public*"
That's a very bad motive. If Clint Watson as press secretary couldnt ensure "*the govt message reaches the people*" what will he do different at ZNS? Send out subliminal messages? What percentage of the population outside of Family Islands watches ZNS?
A much better way to get a message to the people would be to be seen and actually be about the business of rooting out corruption and doing the right things. People would get it.
I'm lost if they're not adjusting margins now, how are pricing going up while gas prices in the US are going down? I believe it was Bastian who told us a little over a month ago and **2** days after OPEC announced they would be reducing production that "*some stations have **already** increased their prices*", based on what? They couldnt have received and processed any shipment at the new price within 2 days???
"*Most groceries, prescription drugs and medical items—like over-the-counter medicines—are exempt from sales tax. Which is great because these items are essential for, you know, living.*
Whereas we pay taxes on food and medical insurance in our bonkers economic squeeze the poor and middle class system
the 6 million subsidy was a non-starter. Since they have to buy gas year round, and 6 million didnt go to one retailer, it was essentially a govt talking point to say look, we did something.
I do agree with your last sentence. I think market forces are demanding less retail stations. Which will not be good news for the consumer. To be fair to them excessive govt taxes and fees are a big part of the equation.
People claim we're undertaxed, I dont buy it. Food 450, Gas 100, Water 60, Electricity 80, Internet&Cable 150, Mobile 50, and assuming school fees gor one child at 250 per month totals 1140. VAT at 20% and customs at 30% because theres no way we're paying 10% VAT and all customs duties are passed on to the consumer, its means 570 of an avg 2000 dollar income goes to taxes thats 28% income tax. I didnt include health life or car insurance. We are far far from undertaxed, its an illusion.
"*noones perfect*". Lol. But seriously, the problem is we've blurred the lines so much we dont know the difference between right and wrong, we *just trying to get ahead*", ... right? So when the light shines we can say things like "*if I have to resign, the PM have to resign too*", what could possibly be wrong if everybody doing it?
"*Carlos Lehder moved thousands of tons of cocaine from the depths of the jungle in the Colombia mountains through the Bahamas and into the U.S. all by his lonesome self over many years.*"
So... I guess I dont do **sarcasm** as well as you do.
The running theory seems to be *likeable* people couldnt have aided Ledher. Therefore the only other option was nobody knew what he was doing, nobody knew about flights in and out of Normons cay, nobody got handed briefcases of money, nobody knew about the murders and nobody implicitly allowed it to happen, right?
Because otherwise, some very rich "*fathers of the nation*" turned blind eyes to alot of *love of money* evil.

Confused. Did the storm just spring up or was it forecast? Why would a cruise ship attempt to navigate dangerous wave conditions?
