I'm honestly not sure what their end goal is. Almost everyday we get more and more loans that ultimately end up with we dont know where the money went and we didnt accomplish the goal. Is this just about selling services? does revenue have preference over making us better? I dont know...
Ah just reading your comment so it IS "*cutting down all the hills*" in fancy terms. I cant believe anybody, any Bahamian would have the gall to put forward such a proposal in 2022 and be baffled as to why a govt thought it was a bad idea. Im almost certain if Minnis were in power it would have been approved but he also single handedly jumped through hoops to approve Oban. You jave to wonder why. It was **almost** as if his pocket depended on it. Possibly the only time he had an all out revolt of cabinet ministers on his hand
But this, this one is epic. a business plan to cut down high ground on populated (with living breathing people, possibly your mummy brother children 3rd removed) sinking islands
The Bahamas needs to establish some standards on what we will and will not as allow and the one thing this nation should no longer allow, and declare loudly that it will not allow, the next time some wants to take a picture speaking at some world body, we will not allow another hill to be cut down on our sinking islands so someone can build a house. Not sustainable, theres only do many hills and when they gone and the house under water what was the point?
**Is "limestone aggregate mining" a fancy term for cutting down hills? Or is it something else completely?**
"*what Ted and I are proposing to do is mine limestone in North Andros to use as building materials in New Providence and the US,”* Cuz it sounds like cutting down hills...
They communicated very clear estimates on what those domes would cost when they originally proposed the idea. Those estimates must have been based on something. I remember trying to find the cost to purchase an igloo in Antarctica for comparison because I thought the cost was way ridiculous.
**Worldwide disaster spending is commonly used for fraud because something has to be done and the need is urgent. Dont mind the people talking about the good they doing. Check the receipts**
I saw someone cleaning fish and throwing the fish guts in the water at the end of Prince charles just a few feet from people swimming. We are asking for it. The insanity is mind boggling then we're all surprised. Montagu ramp is another one
the rich take their lives because they get everything they thought they needed and find out theyre still empty. After that, whats the point? ...speaking from their perspective...

Religious faith can give you hope, an achievable goal can give you hope, I dont think a person can give you hope.. lasting hope at least.
