"*fill had not been added to the plots of land, suggesting this was the reason why water may have settled in some portions of the property.*"

This would be the very definition of "flood zone" wouldn't it?. An area that has to be *filled in* to prevent flooding. One day we'll move away from partisanship and just assess facts and work to resolve the problem rather than save face

lol. Queue the statements from Tourism and the hotels on the need to get the numbers under control so it doesnt affect arrival numbers. This after they usher in the petri dishes and did everything to make them "comfortable" because they were "*tired of wearing masks*"

"*Taylor said L W Young’s principal was attempting to calm an angry student when the student in a fit of rage formed a fist and swung at the principal, “grazing” the administrator’s forehead in the process.*"

How is that different from being attacked? These officials need to stop with this whitewashing of everything acknowledge the depth of the priblem and address it. Ratger than wasting 60k on Rodney find 600k and get some real experts and a real plan. Good news PR is not productivity or effectiveness

"*An opportunity is an opportunity. It may not be the ideal salary that they’re hoping for*"

This doesnt sound like the sales pitch they gave when everybody showed up to the town meeting in I love Disney t-shirts...The results are always predictable when you sell your soul for a bowl of porridge. Our poor people, forever sold up river by fast talkers

We need innovation. Real innovation, not the carbon copies that we call innovation, or the govt sponsored "success" stories where friends and favour govt contract placement decides who suceeds. We cannot continue to base our entire existence on an industry that is so vulnerable to external shocks. The key word being "entire"

There is one major restaurant that was selling spoiled meat for days. They had to know it was spoiled, if the cooked food smelled like decay how did the raw meat smell. Where are the inspectors? How was that meat allowed to stay in fridges for who knows how long?

what we need are systems. does it really take weeks to determine a cause of death? If the intl media hadnt jumped on this, this story would have faded into the sunset, thats how they deal with negatives. "*We dont want to talk about it while its under investigation....This story has been talked about enough and we're not giving any more statements*". Literally how they handle everything. We dont want to accept it but our systems and our officials' knee jerk response to cover up bad press are all 3rd world

"*if there’s any consolation, on April 23, Strachan surged ahead of Fraser- Pryce for the win in the final 30m in a season’s best of 22.55 in the 200 at the Velocity Fest II, a World Athletics Continental Tour Challenger Series Meet in Kingston.*"

No that isnt a consolation. Someone posted here that Shelly Ann slowed down at the end of the race. Anthonique looks really good but its better to let the public know what to realistically expect of her.
