A better approach would have been education on who was considered vulnerable, campaigns targeted at vaccinating them and continued research examining who was getting sick and who was dying. Agree. investing in crypto is too risky for most Bahamians but everybody is trying to convince them to place the meagre savings they have in such a risky venture. Its certainly "possible" that someone could have perfect timing on buying and selling and make some money but the risk is too high. This pot of gold at the end of the rainbow talk is simply too loose around this topic. These guys should know better
I have no faith in this man, no idea if he did anything wrong at beaches and parks, but he was in charge when duplicate contracts were being handed out and people were being paid huge sums to do nothing. The irregularities appear to be commonplace and it would be a huge stretch of the imagination to think he did not know..."anything". But let's say he didn't..., I think the FNM made a huuggge mistake allowing him to contest any position without thoroughly examining and reporting what transpired. Under the circumstances, I would not want him near the treasury controls deciding on even larger contracts

I remember the exact minute they announced Adrian Gibson would be board chairman. I said here "*this is a disaster waiting to happen*". Whether "*it*" happened by ommission or commission is a moot point.
This will go the way of evvverryyy other "*major opportunity for bahamians*" that came our way. Illegal gaming, home porting, oil exploration, natural resources, hotel developments, etc etc. The investors will tell us about the billions to be made and how the bright the future looks for ALL of us, the lawyers and accountants will make out like bandits. One or two "bright" black bahamians will get hired as the face of the company, the investor will reap millions if not billions and the Bahamas and its people will be left to crumble for another 20 years. All while we cheer for people who can land at the sports center in a helicopter like black jesus. I sure black jesus good for a helicopter
This pattern repeats itself every 5 years. Anyone remember the excitement around homeporting and the advice to all bahamians to prepare to benefit? Ir the people marching through town to legalize illegal gaming and the millions it would bring to the econkmy? We did manage to skate free of Oban and oil drilling by the skin of our teeth
