How could we be obligated to them for 31m if the entire project was budgeted at 27m? Same administration, same company. Half the work already done. (Actually please list the work so we can see what was and wasnt done and associated cost) Grass cant cost that much...This is literally ridiculous. This is not secret information. Someone needs to explain the entire project. Why was it assessed at 20+ million to complete everything and now needs more money to finish than was assessed to complete all of it? Is there any truth to the rumour that it is facing the wrong direction thus limiting the revenue it could earn by attracting intl tournaments? If this is true would it make sense to start over? Someone needs to explain all of this clearly. Its no time to speak about noise and fish markets. Is any of the money being used to rework what was already done? Has any of the structure been degraded? Whatever comes out of this needs to make sense 50 years from now, not just be a feel good moment fir 2026

Meanwhile, every other country took the opportunity to present what the expo was **really** about: how their people came up with creative ideas and innovations to address the challenges of the future. You know like the COVID education crisis, sea level rise, global warming, monster hurricanes, access to fresh water, sanitation. with opportunities to partner with other nations facing like issues...

But then again, I guess noone really expects us dimwits to do any more than dance a jig and crack conch sooo... great job
