Part of the problem is the people. And the majority of the people. It appears that people actually believe that if they campaign for an individual they're entitled to something that equates to a monetary reward. A good job that they're completely unqualified for, crown land that they have no plan or resources to develop or some diplomatic post with their only intention to eat lobster and drink wine.

On the other side, there are the criminals with mega money who buy politicians and get to sit next to the PM at public events.

Somewhere in the mix is the independent who isnt suited for politics either, has no real plan, really just wants a regular salary, and campaigns on not being on either side and being poor.

Shenandon Cartwrights statement in the house in response to allegations of misuse of lands and parks funds for undeserved contract awards, ~"*come on guys, everybody does it*", is truly frightening. What will he do should he become DPM?

Last is the mega donor who doles out millions like candy to buy the right to own the govt. 62 Chinese nationals with no passport? No problem, call the DPM.

We are in a giant mess.

Money solves all problems *if* theres good planning. Otherwise it's just more disposable paper

We shall see if it translates to good design, good construction, **completed** pasted costumes and on time execution

What typically happens is they automate the interface to the customer, so theres a big fan fare that weve gone digital and it's simply data collection. The backend process is a stream of manual processes. "*Starting out*", the system works, but as volume increases, the delays start to build and build exponentially because nobody stopped during the planning phase to hold their hand up and say, we have X amount of staff, it takes Y hours for 50 to be processed and we have 8 hours per day, if we get 100 we can add some overtime, but if we get 1000, like we normally do or one person takes vacation, "*this is not scaleable*"

"*we do not to my (IR Operations Chief) knowledge, we don’t have any delays. We try to get them because it’s easy, quick revenue....
Acknowledging that he was not directly responsible for dealing with yacht charter VAT, he added:*"

Do the units work in the same building, attend strategy sessions to look at monthly numbers, have each others contacts? Why does the head of operation not have numbers on operations?

"***After starting out well**, he (Maury) added that yacht charter requests for TIN numbers were now sometimes taking as long as six to eight weeks to ..*

This might be the clue, they *started out* well, things have deteriorated and the Operations Chief isnt aware of what's happening in Operations.

Maintaining people with institutional knowledge past retirement specifically for this purpose is something I've advocated for for years.

It's not as simple as you're retired train this person. If the retiree is a bully, it wont work, if the retiree is only being given an income, it doesnt work, if theres not a plan on how the knowledge will be transferred and how the trainee will be assessed for their willingness to be trained and their assimilation of the material along the way, it will not work.

And theres more... theyll like announce what was said and be lost on the rest

"*The investigation **centres on** a $1.5m airport bank car heist from November.*"

And that's the problem. **If** the voice notes are authentic they hint at a history of miscarried justice by none other than the most senior officer at CDU and involvement of a lawyer. This is way beyond one robbery.

Seriously our moral compass is gone. Where is the 18year old prison officer who Brave Davis gave the low cost home, later charged with involvement in a murder conspiracy then let out of prison on some dubious medical grounds like acne (it was **not** acne, I cant remember the actual diagnosis at the moment)
