"*Those who are in hospital who are COVID-positive happen to be COVID-positive,*"
Or, theyre in hospital because COVID exacerbated their condition. We have at least 2 years of data showing that people with preexisting conditions had their *normal* symptoms worsened by COVID, i.e., pregnant mothers. We cant make a determination because this wasnt really an information update. Were they scheduled patients or emergency patients, at minimum that would provide greater insight.
"*told Tribune Business that a “near-stabbing” almost occurred this past weekend over livery drivers allegedly muscling in on his members’ business at Nassau’s major aviation gateway.*"
Every system is susceptible to "*something*", that's why the golden rule of programming is "manual backup". (I refrain from the word *digitization* as this discipline has been around for decades)
"*Some Haitians have, without supporting evidence, connected Mr Désir’s disappearance to a boating incident on Andros last week.*"
Its unclear if this was a commercial vessel or a private vessel. If commercial, irrespective of whether the speculations are right or wrong, someone should have a list of names of persons travelling on the boat logged in an office somewhere. That list should then confirm or disqualify Desir as a passenger.
Has Lundy given any details on the 2.5m plane as yet? Exactly what is that 2.5m for? He promised th at he would. "*refurbishment*" is too general. Based on the demand that triggered the 2.5m, can he tell us what the plane's monthly travel schedule will look like, how much staff theyll need and what the cost will be. there should be a pattern of more than 2 years of persons travelling that caused them to say we need our own plane. In the end its all patently ridiculous, bahamasair losing money and now they plan to take more from it. But 2.5m needs an explanation.
"*there were no records of him entering or leaving the country. He was reported to have been performing at a night club on May 18 in celebration of Haitian flag day*
And I was wondering why a commercial vessel would not know the names of their passengers.
But how can a man enter the country and there be no record of him entering? I'm assuming this isnt a case of someone coming by sloop boat from Haiti. Did his brother say if they came to the country together, which day they came and which flight they came on? Family members tend to know these things.
How can a sea vessel operate commercially and not be able to say days later who got on and who got off. Is there any scenario where it's useless to collect a passengers name?
