I'm smiling and can't wait for next week to see who would win, cause they ga meet a bunch if pissed off immigration officers, nurses, doctors, public servants, covid-19 issues and headache from Hurricane Dorian. By changing the government will not change the situations. Stuff is not goin away. So yer if the PLP win how long will the honeymoon be before some of you on here start bashing them? Perhaps the PM will be relieved, he has his own money and he is vaccinated with a skill in being a doctor. He is a winner even if he loose. Brave only focus is winning, he just might, however, that is only the start, the work to be done is a different story. The next government will have worst than the one now, no money in the treasury, Covid-19 still will be rampant, I'll pray for them as I always do... God speed. this week's punch is say the the public service should be grateful , none lost their job in these bad times. That may not be the case in the next administration
In this country the government get the blame for when ya get sick, can't pay ya bills, house not repaired, don't have house insurance, when ya car broke down, no food in the house, can't feed ya children, the hotel close, when ya can't get a job.. when the power company executives don't honor the union agreement, when a snap election call, when a hurricane trash ya house... did I miss anything? We as Bahamians need to start takin responsibility for our failures. In this instance for more than a year we all knew what would happen if we didn't take precautions with this covid ting, we didn't. Them old people does say when ya can't hear you will feel.
I'm confused, the numbers were high before these rallies, not only that, Grand Bahama numbers are still the same or lower as it was before the rallies, 10 today. Many not happy with the rallies, but are excited about the emergency order that will discontinue when Brave "wins" this election. Nothing will stop anyone from congregating then. Perhaps the doctors need to support the emergency order. The rallies are nothing, it will be over in under 2 weeks, the moving of the order will kill everyone. If the PLP wins the emergency order will be gone in a matter of days... no need to be concern about the rallies, a bigger issue lies ahead. Nassau has all the bad numbers, your morgue is full, your hospital is full..you all need to really be a concern if there be "A New Day".
I agree, it should be looked into, but right here in West end is a former member MP who is running again...I'm waiting til Fred Mitchell starts yappin about resignation, he has to start with West end.
It has been happening here at Grand Lucayan resort for the longest. In fact all security officers had been gettin' a rapid test for months now, however come September 1st they will pay for their own. Nothing political about it, get vaccinated or pay the price.. or you cud just leave.
