This sounds good, but nothing is ever free, someone always bear the cost. Perhaps Brave forgot this is 3rd world country, Turks & Caicos is not an independent nation, it is still under England. Mother England may be doing all of theirs for free, including all of its territories. Just this morning CNN reported that the United States had over 86,000 new cases just yesterday. This thing is real and not political as he is making it. Even if he makes prime minister it will still be here

I went to NIB today here in Freeport to drop something off... long lines waiting for unemployment checks... he complains about the power being turned off. It is my guess he thinks BPL runs on water. They have to pay bills as well, with the money they collect from the service they provide. I expect my light to be turn off if I don't pay it, no excuses. Like it or not, the country is broke, no matter who we vote in...It can only happen here in the Bahamas,
I look at some of these comments and I am so confused. The numbers are nasty even with lockdowns.. what you think will happen if they remove them. I doubt there will be a new PM, but let's say there was... if things keep surging what will the new one do, even though he is ramping and raving against lockdowns now for political gains...with attitudes like these we will be in the covid dog house forever, and the Gov't will still be getting the blame,PLP or FNM. I sometimes get the impression that only Nassau was the only island on lockdowns. Other done been there before and done that, we didn't die.
These are some really good people, they had Grand Bahama back when we had no hospital.. we still don't have a hospital, but I'm glad to know they are still in the country. Nassau needs the extra help.
I love the idea of more testing, there is a need for more of everything but let's be real... the doctors are stressed out and the nurses are striking. The Prime Minister always said he didn't want the health care system overwhelmed, well they are now. Us regulars Joes cannot administer our own test. We killed out the health care professionals long before we had actually had a ton of cases. So who will do the test? I am not sure Bahamians are getting it. Then we sit back and blame the government. I'm certain if the government change Covid will still be with us.

Former Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) Minister Darrell Rolle said yesterday it was "purely coincidental" that a company he has an interest in was incorporated in time to land a contract to build the female dormitory at the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI). According to a company search, Andarco Construction Ltd. was incorporated on April 30, 2013. Rolle told The Nassau Guardian that Andarco was not incorporated to receive the BAMSI contract...
We some strange folks.. covid is killing us and all we can talk about is this nonsense? Please look at the number in this country, then other Caribbean countries where the tourist will go because we don't understand what the PM is trying to do. Who ga come here to a covid infested town? If I was a visitor and I was traveling I wouldn't come here either. But we sit and blame the government when the problem is ourselves. They post the numbers every day, they are scary, all we cud think of is me, I, and my... selfishness. I glad I don't live there in Nassau. Even if the government changes the problem will still exist, that's the bottom line.
