Excellent point both of you, but I want to piggy back on this Cuba thing. I just read yesterday that since the announcement that Obama made, tourism is now up 250%,these are the people who are trying to get there before the americans do. We are in for a rough ride once that Cuba thing takes off, Bahamar may be laying off people rather than hiring....

I agree, but here in Freeport its almost just as bad, per capita its worst here. Murder counts here is 3. According to police reports murder was the only area of crime up...well its still climbing.

He was ear marked to take over the police force had the previous government gotten back in power. I was a part of the organization then. It was already known that he would be COP but after elections the table turn on him. He worked in Grand Bahamas for a time where he was very comfortable. But after going to Nassau that was when the power struggle started and he was tossed to the dogs by the current government and treated like a constable by the COP. Same as Marvin Dames. We all knew it wouldn't last. It was surprising it lasted that long.

This thing is confusing me, no PLP voted for the first one, they saw it as a FNM thing, now years later Mr. Smith is talking about Greg Moss... my head continues to spin on this matter.. All of them PLPs need to be expelled. I wonder if MR. Smith was an MP when it was defeated back then!!

The police better be careful, the majority of customers in those web shops are police officers. They may very well find that they arresting their own. A great point you bough up licks, and its true. U cant arrest a man for buying wears in an unlicense establishment, you only could charge the business owner. Usually matters of this nature is to proceed by summons. I haven't viewed the laws pertaining to the webshops but generally when it comes to shop license it a process where the police get a name and the address and then summomed them to court, No one is arrested except after the summons is served they fail to appear in court.
