I am driven to tears when I read these critical comments about our Prime Minister and his ongoing attempts to transform our nation. I then recognize that most of the individuals who write these comments are envious and jealous people who do not have any value to add to our nation’s development.
These individuals prefer to criticize everyone, everything and anything that is associated with the Government of the FNM. I wonder if these individuals are able to compare the performance of the FNM with that of the last PLP Government? If they are honest they will find a number of significant differences. I will share a few with the hope that this constant criticism of our leader will cease forthwith:
1. Dr. Minnis did not enter the political arena to make money. His professional earnings are enough to make him a wealthy person.
2. Dr. Minnis does not speak out of both sides of his mouth. He is straight forward, honest and tells the truth.
3. Dr. Minnis has never scammed anyone out of a penny. This is something we cannot say about his PLP equivalent.
4. Dr. Minnis continues to build bridges across the political divide.
These are just a few qualities that clearly show we can trust him and believe him and have no fear that he is working to fill his pocket and those of his acolytes. This is something we cannot say about Brave Davis. And Perry Christie.
The choice is clear. Please join him and join us and let us make the Bahamas the outstanding nation it is set to become. Have no fear our Prime Minister is here.
When the history of our country is written it will be noted that Dr. Minnis came into office and faced a range of serious disasters, some natural and some inherited from the corrupt PLP . Nevertheless, despite these major challenges, it stayed the course to roll out the projects promised in its Manifesto and succeeded. And is on track to succeed.
Accordingly, is there any reason why the FNM under the sagacious and prescient leadership of Dr. Minnis should not be returned to office? There are none.
I neglected to mention that the PLP is ready to contest all constituencies so they can receive another rectal area spanking or as we say in common parlance an Ass Whupping.
It does matter if the PLP field a full slate of candidates they cannot win the next election.
Any objective assessment of the stewardship of the country by the FNM will show focused, disciplined and strategic leadership within an environment of change, crises, and an inheritance, from the PLP mismanagement and corruption, an economy in decline.
As I continue to assert, Bahamians need leadership and stewardship from the FNM and not corruption and theft of the nation’s assets by a PLP party accustomed to dishonesty, moral degeneracy, and a total inability to put the people of our country first.
Just look at the number of millionaires who entered the last PLP Government as paupers and emerged as wealthy fat cats. All from kickbacks, insider dealing and other methods of corruption.
This criticism is sheer poppycock. These are criticisms coming from individuals who are hustling to remain relevant. Due diligence, care and the application of contemporary best practices in minimizing any deleterious effects from drilling is all that is required.
We in the Bahamas need to wise up to the fact that we must seriously diversify our sources of revenue. And the prospect of adding petroleum products to our revenue base is not only exciting it is downright required at this time in our national development.
These so-called environmentalists are simply trying to remain relevant by flogging a dead horse. They are trying to portray a picture where when fossil fuel is produced in the Bahamas it will result in so many major oil spills that our beaches and shores will be destroyed along the flora and fauna. This is simply untrue. And it is very irresponsible of these environmentalists to scare the public.
Why is it that you miscreants to the truth hate this outstanding Prime Minister so, so much? Is it because he did not give you the opportunity to continue to line your pockets? Or is it because he has the moral and decisive strength to change direction when the facts on the ground warrant such?
If any of you blowhards can give me the name of a political leader who did not change direction and reverse a previous position when the circumstances changed, then I will know you are untruthful.
Take the example of the Corona virus. Swedish and Danish leaders argued that there was going to be no curfew and everyone should continue as normal. Look at what they are saying and doing now! Oopsie, we made a mistake let us institute a rigid curfew.
Look at President Trump and the decision making surrounding the corona virus. Enough said.
The point is that no leader should be wedded to any position when the environment is fluid.
So please stop calling our Prime Minister derogatory names after he took positions that were in the interest of the nation. Please kindly remember he did not seek office to find wealth. He already had wealth. He sought office to build our nation. And that is what he is doing every single day. God Bless him and the members of his Cabinet. We are so grateful to the Almighty for sending him. May the Almighty continue to Bless him.
There is saying that goes something like this : Ingratitude is worse than witchcraft. And the responses by some of these well ensconced idiots is a prime example of this phenomenon currently plaguing our nation.
Everything our Government does has to be spun in a direction of negativity. Here it is where our Government is providing an opportunity for young professionals to establish themselves with real property at an early stage of their careers and you have these mean spirited individuals attempting to criticize what is an innovative and magnanimous gesture on the part of the FNM Government.
During the time the PLP Government was in Office it was every person for themself and the devil catch the hindmost. Did we hear of any such projects like the one our Honorable Prime Minister is putting forth? Absolutely not.
So it would behoove these mean spirited and bad minded types to back off for a little while and give the young professionals the opportunity to become vested in property. These young professionals are the future of our nation and the sooner they have real property the quicker they will turn to putting their minds to build our nation.
I am asking Tribanon, who lives in a gated community, how old was he when he purchased his first home? Was it inherited? Was it from kickbacks? Pray let us know.
Finally, you have to give Jack his jacket on this one. Prime Minister Minnis deserves applause for this most creative and innovative way of empowering the young professionals. We have never seen, heard, sensed or imagined anything like this before. God Bless you Prime Minister. We love you. Stay healthy and continue to lead us down the road to prosperity.
These activists are truly naive. They are kith and kin with those will sooner or later sue to stop tourism in our country and tourists from coming to the Bahamas because these activities engender environmental destruction.
What they fail to comprehend is that the experts engaged by the BPC have looked at this issue from all sides. They, however, have looked at the issue from the biased perspective of wanting to keep progress from happening in our land. This is unfair and justice will prevail.
