PLP still in the DENIAL phase of the Grief Cycle after being thrashed at the last elections. What is so hard for them to understand they have lost power? And will not regain power until they reinvent themselves and abolish the PLP.

Please leave our esteemed Prime Minister alone. Is it too much to wait until the next elections to try to get him out of office. Or is it that everyone knows that our party, the mighty FNM, will once again be returned to power to continue their transformative agenda for the people?

Fred Mitchell is the last one to be talking about someone who is unfit for office. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

It is quite evident that the PLPs have not yet gotten over their grief from losing access to power in this country. One would have thought that by now they would have completed all the stages in the cycle of grief, but when you read the drivel from Well_mudda_take_sic and the foolishness from the likes of Chucky, it is clear to see they are still in the stage of denial. They do not seem to be able to get over the FACT that they were overwhelmingly rejected by the majority of Bahamians. It is time for them to move on and enter the final stage of the grief cycle by accepting the FACT that they are no longer in power.

PLPites have to remember that the leader must aim high, see the big picture, judge widely, thus setting himself apart from the ordinary people who debate in narrow confines. Our leader and Deputy leader have a birds’ eyes Views of where we are going. The likes of Mudda and Chucky have frogs’ eyes perspectives and are unable to grasp the big picture from the bottom of the cesspit where they dwell and smell.

Hi Chucky. So there is no solution? No hope and no future? Yes or no?

All things being equal, the Honorable Minister is correct, however there is a need for the social partners in the Bahamas to sit together and forge a partnership for mutual gain for the betterment of all Bahamians as they travel down the road to prosperity together. When the Government, the Private Sector and Trade Union leaders sit down together and arrive at this Common Vision, all the parties will be able to appreciate the Blocks and Constraints that currently impact on the attainment of this Common Vision and the Strategic Directions which need to be addressed to remove these Blocks and Constraints. The parties will then with be able to come up with a Division of Responsibilities, Measures of Success and Consequences of Failure.

By putting our Bahamas first we will be able to to give workers, entrepreneurs and the Every citizen of this Commonwealth what is rightfully due to each. Doctors, Lawyers, Bakers, And Candlestick Makers.

What is happening in the country right now is creating a Significant barrier on our competitiveness. Our rankings in the Global Competitiveness Report has surely dropped by at least 19 places, our Attractiveness to Foreign Direct Investment has surely diminished and placed us just above Zimbabwe and our reputation as a nation serious about creating a climate for Doing Business continues to be thwarted as we cut off our noses to spite our faces. Foreign Investors will go elsewhere.

What do the Bahamians who are encouraging this industrial unrest want? To destabilize the Government led by the FNM? To get rid of the Honorable Prime Minister? To destroy our country’s reputation?

Please let the Government serve the term it was elected to serve. Then judge them at the ballot box.

Please Bahamians what we are doing as we travel down this road to destabilization via political and industrial unrest is a Lose-Lose road fraught with suffering for all. Please let us eschew the lose- lose Road and seek the High Road of Win-Win where all Bahamians share in the profits and productivity our nation is capable of creating.

Please Bahamas let us seek this road. We are all brothers and sisters.

Could it be that these “Doctors “ are tampering with some medications that cause hallucinations? How in the world can a group of professionals who have taken an Oath to harm no one behave in this manner by requesting that which is unachievable to justify staying away from work?

It is clear from the list of demands that they are being manipulated by PLP forces. This is clear simply because they do not understand basic economics when they prattle for demands that are convoluted . They are not only cutting off their noses to spite their faces, they are probably hell bent on causing an increase in illnesses to our people to justify the demand for their services.

The Government should issue an ultimatum to them: Return to work immediately or we will consider that your actions constitute resignation from your jobs.

There are hundred of similarly qualified Caribbean Doctors who are unemployed and would fit into the culture nicely. Additionally, we can source Doctors from all over the world within a moment’s notice.

A sick and chronically ill person will not think of where the Doctor originated from when he/she needs the condition he/she is suffering from needs immediate attention.

Once the Government starts sacking these clowns , you will see how many of these jokers put their tails between their legs and run back to work. That will be the end of solidarity. Then let the PLP find work for those who are sacked.

The sacking should take place in a phased manner. Sacking the most experienced is the way to implement this strategy to break this most unprofessional display of puppetry.

This is a very sad example of what healthcare has come to in our country. Look at the photograph. A disproportionate number of these Doctors are obese and look as if they need treatment. What example are they setting for the patients they serve. Go on Doctors Heal Yourselves first.

This is absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional behavior.

Please let us be honest with each other on this issue of the performance of BPL and the frequent power outages. The corporation was well on its way to addressing all the issues impacting on its performance when the PLP came to power. Every employee, manager, supervisor as well as all unions were involved in a Transformation Project. When the late Bradley Roberts became Chairman of the Board he abruptly and without rhyme or reason, other than appointing PLP supporters, terminated this Transformation Project.

The problem we have in this country is that we continuously cut off our noses to spite our faces.

This issue of frequent power outages is a very simple problem to solve. The Union is hell bent on sabotaging the operations of the company so the blame can be laid on the FNM.

This issue of power reliability is a bi-partisan issue. And irrespective of which party is in office the nation needs reliable power to be competitive, productive and deliver the world class tourism product we are known for.

The Government should revisit the Transformation Project and put the recommendations and strategies in place. This is the solution. No privatization or outsourcing will solve this problem.
