All dem have such swelled egos. They are so power hungry, they can't even stand in unity with their own party, or ready to jump to the next side when it profits them.
No one should be allowed to cross the floor in my opinion, but more importantly no politician must think that it is either their way, or the highway. They are supposed to represent the people.
The continued showing of these MPs that they have no regard for public opinion or accountability to their constituents or citizens of the Bahamas at large tells me that this is truely NOT a democracy.
When i look at these assholes in the HOA i can clearly understand why this country has a crime problem...
Why don't we ask the tourist who come here and support our economy if we should should be flogging migrants. Canada is accepting 25,000 Syrian migrants even in the face of international terrorist attacks (Canadian Parliament was also attack this year).
The Haitian who are coming here aren't even coming "TO" the bahamas, they're trying to get "OUT" of Haiti. You know the situation in Haiti?
These people would be considered refugees in countries that actually has some respect human rights... here they are considered Criminals who deserve harsher punishment.
Sometimes i wonder if all these would be Christian round here are actually Satanist, because they definitely harbour evil and inhumane thoughts
Shock Treatment is BS anyway. It's just more police treating poor people from trouble backgrounds like criminals. Do that to them as kids, they prob gone grow up to believe that they are criminals and shout F the Police. See too much youth with that mentality... badding them up only makes it worse
? another teachable moment? i'm waiting for these politicians to stop being totally surprised by this stuff. It's not like it's getting less common. wtf

What i don't get is why in the minds of many here, there are only two approaches to crime fighting and prevention.
1) Barbaric law enforcement with total disregard for legal conventions and principles of human rights
2) Absolutely no law enforcement.
Anything else, seems incomprehensible to far to many Bahamians
