changing the climate from “theatrics” to presenting concrete proposals with a view to enhancing the lives of Bahamians.

Believe it when i see it, right now it still looking like theatrics

Everyone get a piece; building and opening a Hotel of this size one time is a foolish undertaking.... Note how Atlantis took it's time and opened in parts and is today successful.

Add to that all the Non-sense, like missed deadlines, mixed stories, botched construction that does not meet the building / safety codes...

Makes us on-lookers wonder why Izzy would mash up his own business in such as way? what was he out to gain by doing this?

Our gov't is already so suspicious, it seems more reasonable to alot of us that it was prob greed motivated meddling that capsized the BahaMar Boat..... But really.... because of all the double talk.... none of us know for sure what the hell is really going on there (or at least i won't claim to know absolutely myself)

Don't worry.... Perry done say this thing was opening soon ..... right?

I think people prob just gone keep complaining all as the ship sink and the water cover up they mouth.... The fact that there was a thin turn out for this i think speaks to Bahamian Citizens involvement in their own National Destiny

That's what i'm thinking. there are so many issues with the Health Care here already..... why add a new, poorly planned scheme ontop of an already faulty system???

It's like that game where you stack the bricks (jumenga?) if the stack is unstable, putting more on top could make everything fall down

QUOTE: the government’s insistence on rolling out a primary care phase of NHI without concentrating on providing people with catastrophic coverage is tantamount to ignoring the most pressing healthcare issues facing Bahamians.

What is the logic? i'm guessing it's just another empty political promise to gain favour for votes.

Canada has a Public HealthCare, and is always looking for new immigrants to come into the country to pay tax to support that system.....
Where indeed will the Bahamas get the money to run such a system locally????

TruePeople says...

Ya, but instead when time you try to move forward here is enough people ready to jump on you to hold you down. When they know you find success, they looking to rob you.
Bahamian who want to achieved the success you're hoping for end up leaving, and making that success happen in another country...
