The smarter thing still….grow organic, raise “clean” meat and dairy, to increase the overall wellness of the population (which also enhances IQ and decision making), and stop focusing on profits! A micro, and National, economy designed to care for all its people in the bigger picture makes a stronger and more productive nation. But as long as greedy men choose money over Christ and people we will be a peoples who’s dollars serve a soulless master.

Natural “assets” and resources, wanting them and defending them, have always been at the heart of war and progress. From the very beginning some men have sought to control others through the control of assets and resources the people depend upon. This is no different. But it comes with the illusion of peace. It is like the industrial elite convincing people that factories and farm equipment meant “progress” and we bought into that system. The very same system now conveniently tells us has been polluting the planet while causing climate havoc, and we must buy into a “more sustainable” system. Meanwhile the batteries and material infrastructure we need to support this fanciful whim will further deplete the planet of other resources. All this simply so that the wealthy remain comfortably indulged. Being slaves to commercial enterprises runs deep in our history; a history which we are just as deeply offended by. We thought taxes to support a God-less monarchy, conveniently placed by the elite, were an outrage; then we complain about taxes to support government which in turn provides wealth to its hierarchy of cronies and “brothers” and the elite; then we have capitalistic profits which put our hard earned money into the wealthy elite, again; and now…what are they asking us to buy into so that we are depleted, the planet is depleted, and only a certain few prosper, make progress, and profit! We want reparations for colonialism but the irony is that the very same system which brought that upon men changes face, changes identity, sells us something “better”. It lies! And here we are, attending their gatherings and not demanding that the elite pay to fix the problems they are responsible for and yet burden OUR shoulders with! We claim to be a Christian country. If that were true we would naturally be responsible citizens of our country. But we have forsaken God and embraced hedonism. We serve a god that dupes us into the idea that we are happy and free. We serve an Antichrist.

If 16,277 signatures out of a population of some 400,000 peoples is on a petition that caused the Government to act then we must surely comprehend the oxymoron in the statement….“We must allow democracy to take its course, we must allow Parliament to accept the petition.” Either democracy is dead of we have a bunch of moron puppets listening to voices other than the people’s. A “Democracy” consisting of a minority number of voices would never have given us the reason to celebrate 50 years Independence next year (?) Liberal logic… World gone crazy mon! History is like the main media….gets spun to meet agendas. Search out the truth and spin it rightly; you grow when you learn truth, you fester when you believe a lie.

Since cholera is not endemic to the Bahamas the above comment was well put! However, we also have an invisibly growing number of Indians traveling back and forth to a place heavily affected by cholera. The UN was found responsible for cholera in Haiti. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-am… Once it arrives it spreads through water, food and poor hygiene. A person with cholera gets diarrhea, goes to the bathroom in the bush cause of lack of toilets, has nowhere to wash their hands, and handles food thus passing on cholera. Or flies land on open fecal matter and then food. Or rain washes it into the mud where children later play. Since it is a bacterial infection much can be done to cure it. But you and I know what the UN health affiliates will recommend for it…and give us “passport” lol ROL.

Suicide or rage-murder? Tying a sheet around one’s own neck to completely cut off the airway is not as easy as it sounds. Cutting edge science takes forever to change the mindset of the medical “system” which still removes gall bladders for minor stones and treats people with mental health challenges with drugs!!! The most current studies have shown that mental health is linked to diet and lifestyle which affect our microbiome (gut health) and….perhaps the most overlooked in our country…mold and heavy metal toxicity. Virtual education and Covid protocols meant that children were subject to being inside much more than normal, and often in sub-standard shanty-shacks, or “livable” buildings with drywall and leaks!!! These problems cause both irritability and rage, and induce depression and suicide. Would I go to a psychiatrist if I felt I wasn’t coping? That was answered for me when I took my mother-in-law for depression and possible dementia…we walked out with a prescription for drugs with side effects a mile long, including death and suicide !!! I researched other ways to help her.

I hope they are not packing the kits with GM seeds and commercial fertilizers! Until this country bans GM seeds and especially glyphosate aka roundup and the like we shall only continue to poison ourselves and wonder why we have obesity, diabetes, health issues, gut issues and a D average brain!!!

Suppose such a thing were even plausible…does Long Island even have enough people to hire as the work force after the post Joachin depopulation? And can Long Islanders really afford to move back home having established jobs, homes, and good supermarkets in Nassau or other places? Do they even have homes in livable condition to go to? Hence the “justification” for filling jobs with their own people? I remain skeptical that this is just another Port St George or a lot of hype for some investment money scam. I’ll start to believe it when I see Bahamians being hired from the very beginning as project managers etc.

The clans want their own territory, not foreign “elite” parks for people of privilege.

Just another Port St George SCAM! The project speaks for itself in its impossibilities. Just a scam to embezzle investors or South American scammers looking to legitimize laundered money. With a failed project and money in their pockets what deal you think gov did with them for their “commission”? Its planning shows it’s an environmental disaster at best ROL.

In my humble opinion we missed a vital opportunity to our GDP when we threw the baby out with the bathwater. If we had simply embraced the history of our nation, with respect to all those right-hearted folk who comprehend the evils of slavery and colonialism, we could have marketed the value of pageantry. We would have transitioned into a tourist economy that drew the many travelers looking for something different, especially at times like these where people can’t afford to visit England but could have arrived here to witness a nation mourning yet celebrating its head of state who, like a parent, watched as they gained independence. Instead we reveal the petulant teenagers we are in our growth as a nation; we behave like the ungrateful prodigal son, asking for our inheritance to squander.
If we think we are shrugging off some kind of evil vestiges we carry by becoming a republic we will simply follow another delusion, perhaps one worse than the former. Sometimes the devil you think you know is way better than the devil you don’t. It is one’s duty to rise above both; for Christ, one’s self, and for the nation. Only in doing so is a true head established and any governance be, of self or of a nation, righteous.
