Indeed the Minister of Health needs to do a better job of communicating. He has been talking about booster shots for a while. What's the hold up? Surely the time should be now with the threat of a new highly transmissible variant and the Christmas season when people will be gathering. Waiting until after Christmas will surely be too late for some and risks a fourth wave if this variant is in the country.

Thank you Andrew Allen. You have summed up our judiciary and magistracy so well. Complete and utter failures. Don't get me started on the number of fathers who get away with not paying child support because of their privileged positions in society. They get a pass in court.

Excellent points. The PLP would be seen in a better light if they came together with the government at this time to deal with this pandemic rather than trying to undermine them every step of the way.
Also true that young people are not interested in the political divide as previous generations were. They are educated enough to critically examine the behaviour and rhetoric of politicians and see through the smokescreens.

Indeed Mrs. Deveaux's remarks need to be looked at through the lens of the history of our country. She was speaking the beliefs that have been handed down to her and the remarks should be regarded with understanding and compassion rather than criticism. A well penned letter True Bahamian.

The best critique I have seen in a long, long time. Thank you. I have said this so many times but people cannot seem to comprehend.

I was astounded at the behaviour of these two former Prime Ministers. This is a terrible time in our country's history and we should all be coming together and not creating divisiveness. The former Prime Ministers would do well at this time to remember the famous words of John F. Kennedy who said ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country. We should all remember that famous quote and be asking right now what we can do for our country.

I am proud of this government who are taking steps to protect the environment. With regard to retailers charging for bags, this is clearly to provide a deterrent so shoppers will bring their own reusable bags. Other countries have been doing this for decades.

Many years ago a friend of mine had his leg almost severed at the knee in a motorcycle accident. A bystander tied her belt around his leg to stop the bleeding until the ambulance arrived. It saved his life. Dr. Sands is right that this woman's life could have perhaps been saved if someone tried to stop the bleeding.
