What a convoluted letter. Mr. Moss starts out discrediting the claims of sexual harassment that women have endured for countless years then finishes by claiming children go to bed hungry because their mothers use WhatsApp. Clearly all social ills are the fault of women and men have no responsibility.
If The Tribune is correctly reporting what Mr. Maura said, then it does not make much sense. On the one hand he says the Minnis administration is establishing fear in the minds of the business owners, yet he is adamant that there should be no excuse for any business to hire illegal employees. So why the fear? Ms. Russell did you get this right? If so, as a journalist, did you question this discrepancy with Mr. Maura?
Mr. Davis, there is nothing complicated about rape, marital or otherwise. Rape is rape, whether it occurs within a marriage or not. Let us see if there is even one politician who will stand up for what is right and protect the victims. I am personally extremely disappointed in the present government's indifference toward this issue.
If you see violations on a regular basis in a certain place at a certain time as described in this letter, then report it to the police. If nothing is done, then go to the media. People usually go to the media or social media first to complain. This doesn't solve the problem. Go first to the people who can rectify the problem.
Well said licks2. It seems like we don't like to see other Bahamians getting positions. She wants to work for the good of her country and people pulling her down. SMH.

Thank you for the letter, Mr. Evans. Sheeprunner12, your question doesn't make sense. It would be enforced the way any law would be enforced.
