Great job Woodcock Primary. It is wonderful to see administration, teachers, parents and kids unite and collaborate together. Look at what can be achieved when everyone is encouraged to particpate and be motivated. There are so many ways in which volunteers; donors; professionals and Corporate Bahamas can give a Hand-up to help literacy improve in our public schools and after-school programs. Thank you Danielle Barnes for taking the time out to highlight this achievement.

A great article pointing to the many issues which a "Christian House of God could address"!
I know there are some churches who do great things in the community and their number continue to grow. New comers are not vetted or asked "who they is" and "where do they work" and "how much will they contribute." One only need to look at the amazing New Providence Community Church and The Presbyterian Kirk to name 2.
As stated, In April 2017, new president of the Bahamas Christian Council Bishop Delton Fernander stated an agenda for change, and his silence and lack of movement in this direction indicates to me that his intentions and agenda are stilled by the oligarchy within the Christian Council. I noted that he shared a post on his facebook page "Sometimes, you've walked around in circles so long that you forget you were going somewhere."
There is much we can do to address the many, many issues which exist within this country IF we come together and unite for change.
Perhaps a leading pastor with nothing but compassion & love within his heart will come forth, and LEAD!
