Meantime the very corrupt Desmond Bannister is constatntly announcing that his Ministry of Works expects to receive all the funding it will need to undertake many mega-million dollar contracts that he is so anxiuos to get underway. LMAO
In any civilized country the police commissioner would have been made to immediately resign and the unthreatened law enforcement officers directly involved in brutally beating people would have been immediately suspended from duty pending a timely investigation, most likely resulting in their dismissal.
The video that recently went viral on social media clearly shows no apparent threat to the lives of the police officers involved in this outrageous incident. The brutality here speaks volumes about what is likely going on every day in our criminal justice system.
Marvin Dames is a big proponent of CCTV so we must ask ourselves why hasn't he argued for CCTV to be placed in all areas of our police stations where apprehended individuals are handled and/or kept by law enforcement authorities. The same goes for our prison. Meanwhile not a peep from Minnis.
And while we're at it, why don't we give all known wife beating drunkards access to both plenty booze and their wives.....and let's just accept that it's a religious right for men to beat the hell out of women.
This is the same type of foolish mentality that purports to have somehow made the criminal activities of Sebas Bastian and Craig Flowers 'legal', resulting in an exponential increase in the number of severely addicted gamblers in our society who leave their families destitute as they indulge in their horribly degrading compulsive disorder at the web shops.
Wow! The number of Dorian caused deaths is a political matter for cabinet ministers to determine as opposed to a number determined by the actual number of identified deaths todate with a best possible estimate of the unidentified dead who were swept out to sea. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky that our corrupt politicians, who feel they must control anything and everything, still let each of us determine for ourselves when we need to take a pee. If they could, they would no doubt try to politically control our most basic biological functions for their own perceived political benefit. LMAO
Tommy Turnquest should be dragged out onto the street in Rawson Square and flogged with a hose. Just think for a moment how many passenger lives were put at unnecessary greater risk over many years by flying in these Bahamasair planes that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) considered should be made safer. One terrible incident is all it would have taken for all hell to break loose. Of course Tommy T will do what he's known to do best, i.e. just shrug his shoulders and say "How was I suppose to know?" D'Aguilar should fire the SOB and if he doesn't do so then Minnis should fire both D'Aguilar and Tommy T.
