Anything that the Tweedle-Dumb Minnis-led FNM government touches all too quickly falls to pieces. The incompetence of Tweedle-Dumb Minnis and his cohorts has no bounds.
Anti-US sentiment continues to be heavily stoked in the Bahamas by the political elite in both the PLP and FNM political parties, to the point where many Bahamians suffer from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). Until that changes, there's little hope of us being able to leverage our relationship with the US in order to defend against the unending baseless attacks from organizations run by misbehaved and self-annointed globalists with a warped elitist mentality and increasingly misguided nations like the Netherlands and France acting on their own.
By the way, the Netherlands and France are both well known for their own very serious money laundering problems at home which make what little money laundering that goes on in the Bahamas today pale by comparison.
Pathetic! Less than three hundred and fifty (350) deportations to Haiti since Hurricane Dorian while we have thousands and thousands of illegal Haitian aliens roaming around plain sight in the Bahamas today.
We are literally swimming backwards because we all know full well there have been many more than 350 new Haitians who have illegally arrived on our shores since Hurricane Dorian. We need to get much more aggressive in rounding them up and deporting them back to Haiti on a sustained basis while at the same time significantly beefing up our Defense Force's ability to provide much greater assistance to the U.S. Coast Guard in intercepting these invaders at sea.
This is the Mangy Pot-Cake's way of saying Statoil/Equinor and Carnival Cruiselines are going to be allowed by the corrupt Minnis-led FNM government to get off scot-free for their past misdeeds in polluting our environment. This idiot would have you believe our country had no legal recourse against these foreign owned enterprises prior to this new legislation, which of course is nothing but poppy-cock!
As for fines under the new legislation be limited to a maximum of $30 million, well, let's just say that's chomp change if an oil explorer has a catastrophic event while exloring for oil in our seas. I suspect the level of fines has been kept deliberating low in order to allow the one oil explorer that James Smith is associated with to avoid having to pay much higher insurance premiums when it starts exploratory drilling activities in our seas. What a joke Carl Bethel is!
Tweedle-Dumb Minnis and his violent brother seem to have a lot in common: arrogance, nastiness, bad temper, racist leanings, etc. This should not be at all surprising though if they were brought up (reared) together in the same household in their more formative younger years.
Tweedle-Dumb Minnis and Tweedle-Dee Turnquest foolishly look at a $300 weekly minimum wage as follows:
* Higher payrolls mean higher contributions to technically bankrupt national insurance fund;
* Higher household income helps to pay BPL Rate Increase Bond obligations;
* More money in hands of consumers means greater spending that attracts VAT;
* More money in hands of gamblers means greater profits for Sebas Bastian and Craig Flowers and in turn greater financial support from them for the FNM party; and
* It's just an easy way to buy votes by further increasing taxes and the national debt.
Insurers are feeling the pinch of those policyholders who wisely decided to lawyer-up to get what they're rightfully entitled to receive under the policies they paid handsome premiums for.
As for lessons learned, many policyholders will be dropping their policies going forward after having experienced the claims nightmare their insurers have wrongfully put them through in order pay out less than the insureds were entitled to receive under their policies notwithstanding all of the legalese gobbledegook in fine print.
Why doesn't the IDB simply slap one of its US$10 Billion lending teats ("tits") on to the constantly sucking swollen borrowing lips of Tweedle-Dumb Minnis one time and simultaneously declare the Bahamas to be yet another failed state in our region of the world, like Venzuela, Haiti, Cuba, etc. ??!!
And that's US$10 Billion with a big 'B', i.e. US$10,000,000,000. Now that Doofus Minnis finally understands he has no chance of being re-elected, he will become a most dangerous borrowing binger as he adopts a scorched earth policy towards any and everything between now and the next general election. God help us all!!

The conversation sort of goes something like this:
The Conservative Voter: "I worked very hard to earned what I have and so it rightfully belongs to me."
The Leftist Voter: "You have more than what you need so why not generously give some to me."
The Elected Political Elite: "You both deserve only what I choose to let you have and all the rest is for me."
LMAO
