Well said!

....ditto that....

If the Bahamian people are fool enough to serve up their country to Minnis on a platter, he will only too gladly take it as the new supreme ruler of The Bahamas.

I also cry for many of the elderly and the mentally ill who may run afoul of our new supreme ruler's orders simply because they may be suffering from confusion and anxiety, or worse still, panic attacks. And many of these more vulnerable people may be without the regiment of medications that they should be taking daily.

It seems our new supreme ruler (and the writer of the above article) would be content to see them all lined up before a firing squad and put out of their misery. That may in fact be more merciful than serving five years in prison because most of these people have no means paying the ridiculously high fines. The fines should have all along been set at a reasonable deterrent level and not serve as a prison sentence.

Let's just hope Sands did not order the use of test kits made by and obtained from Red China.

The US quickly abandoned the use of test kits supplied by Red China because they were found to produce way too many false negative results. Of course the ruthless Xi Jinping communist regime couldn't care any less because they don't even care about the health and well-being of many of their own people in Red China.

> Tyrone Sands, superintendent of customs, told The Tribune officers had suspicions about the Faith Avenue bar before videos of alcohol being sold there against Dr Minnis’ emergency orders circulated this month.

**Translation:** *If you as a businessman conducting a legal or illegal business dare to violate any of Minnis's orders, you risk the Supreme Ruler personally ordering a major 'hit job' on your business establishment.*

In the case of what has happened here to Jonathan Ash, well, let's just say, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy (my tongue pressed hard in cheek). But all business owners should be taking careful note of what has taken place here because their business could well be next for just about any reason our new Supreme Ruler may deem fit.

Yes, most seriously.

Minnis has just spit in the face of the Bahamian people, showing them who's the boss calling all the shots and now able to do whatever he wants to do. And if the Bahamian people don't like it, well that's just too damn bad! Furthermore, any Bahamian who doesn't behave and dares to get upperty now risks being locked up for a long time. Welcome all Bahamians, to the new police state you now live in!

There can be no possible justification whatsoever for these promotions at a time like this when so many Bahamians are suffering and going without so much. These outrageous promotions were no doubt personally approved in advance by none other than Minnis himself. This is what tyrannical dictators do in police states like North Korea. Evil dictators always treat the armed forces in their country exceptionally well in order to curry favour with them and ensure their ongoing loyalty. I smell the scent of Red China's ruthless Xi Jinping communist regime on most of the decisions now being made by Minnis. We're in much deeper trouble than the covid-19 virus alone could ever have put us in. Hopefully the US government is very carefully monitoring what is going on here, right on its door step.

We should all be utterly ashamed of ourselves for the neglect and terrible hardships being experienced each day by so many of the elderly in our country. It does say a lot about what we have allowed ourselves to become as a society.

Our government should have great pause for thought each time it approves the expenditure of funds on so many things that are so much less important than attending to the needs of the elderly in our country who have no means of supporting or looking after themselves and are without family assistance of any kind.

"......because of Minnis!"

Hope you don't mind @ThisIsOurs, but I just thought I should complete that last sentence of yours in your post immediately above.
