I've heard many say they would never want to be in the position of having to make a major insurance claim under a policy issued by this insurer.

Minnis and Turnquest had best remember how much the union leaders and their union members were pampered by the Christie-led PLP government in the run up to the last general election only to find that most union members ended up snubbing their nose at the PLP candidate running in their constituency when it came time to cast their vote on election day.

Minnis and Turnquest would be wise to just ignore the union noise and do what's right by the country and all Bahamians, not just unionized government employees who are wrongfully continuing to receive full pay and benefits while so many private sector employees are now without a job and with no source of income or meaningful level of government benefits whatsoever.

The big problem here is government using scarce resources to fund businesses all along doomed to failure in any event, especially at a time when government itself is claiming it has to increase its own borrowings. Now is certainly not the time to prop up weak businesses that even with government support will not be around for the long term to provide jobs and contribute to our GDP.

Are you proposing the same for the many hundreds of Red Chinese construction workers in our country today? Many of us would prefer they all be sent home to create more Bahamian jobs and keep money in our own economy. We really need to get all of these lowly paid and unskilled foreign construction workers out of our country, and our government needs to stop kissing the butt of the ruthless and most evil Xi Jinping led communist regime.

Hard to believe so many better than Lanisha Rolle in our society have lost their jobs and are now struggling daily to survive, whereas she hasn't even suffered a cut in pay and/or benefits. Frankly unbelievable!

The track record of Minnis and Turnquest guarantees we will experience more government spending, more government borrowing and, "yes", more government taxes. And we will get all three of those things with very little, if any, good governance for the benefit of our country and its people. The Red China Virus crisis has opened the eyes of just about every Bahamian to Minnis's gross incompetence and complete lack of leadership skills, not to mention his arrogant and nasty demeanor.

As sure as the sun will set tonight, the FNM party is destined to go the way of the PLP party if Minnis is allowed to remain its leader. As for Turnquest, well, let's just say, a mediocre bean counter at best does not make for a competent and trust worthy minister of finance.

Poor Brave, no one listens to him anymore. He has yet to figure out that his only role in politics today is to serve as a good reminder of why the PLP no longer exists as a viable political party.

Does this mean we can migrate our entire public education system to Canada's online public education system and get rid of all of those over-paid and unqualified government employees who for years have been pretending to be teachers?

And does this mean we can look forward to using most of our public school buildings for other much more productive purposes, assuming we will no longer be needing them as daycare centres where the the next generation of borderline illiterate and D - educated individuals are readied for employment by government?

Perhaps we can now finally downsize the greatly bloated size of the very costly administrative apparatus of the ministry of education itself.
