The very incompetent and corrupt Minnis-led FNM government will only ever be good at "breaking" things because it has demonstrated time and time again having no ability whatsoever to "fix" anything.
But please don't ask how much worse can things get because I'm personally convinced Minnis is so evil and jinxed that we may yet see dead frogs infected with the bubonic plaque raining down on our nation.
The successive corrupt governments we've had since 1967 have left our society bereft of the brain power attributes you speak of. Instead we have an abundance of unsustainable national debt and a society of many "have nots" and few "haves" with little brain power in either of these two economic groups. For decades now our best and brightest Bahamians haven't been returning to the Bahamas after receiving a first class education abroad. They rightfully saw little hope for themselves in a country where who you know rather than what you know is all that matters.
But you're nevertheless doing an excellent job at articulating Minnis's position that "We are all God's Children" and therefore need only sing the famous song lyric: "Don't worry, be happy".
Your thought process on this is flawed. Would you feel the same way about a Bahamian registered ship known to be carrying a suicidal terrorist group armed with a detonable atomic bomb?
As they say, ignorance is bliss right up until.......
I bet @Chucky even has a "hoax explanation" for why the healthcare systems in many developed countries like Italy have been so overwhelmed that triage is having to be practiced whereby doctors and hospitals are literally deciding who must be sent home to die because there are no available hospital beds, ventilators, etc.
What the writer probably does not know is that Donald Trump's IQ was officially tested on two occasions while he was at the Citadel and his average score was 148. His daughter Ivanka's IQ was similarly tested while she attended Choate Rosemary Hall and she scored even higher than her father. The writer likely also does not know that Donald Trump's sister, Maryanne Trump Barry, was until her recent retirement a United States Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit (appointed by President Bill Clinton). She too was well known for her 'smarts' and had graduated near the top of her class at a first rate law school. Let's not forget too that Donald Trump graduated from the Wharton School of Business at UPenn, one of the world's leading business schools. Bottomline: A history of good family genes is just that and Donald Trump's ability as a novice politician to ascend to the US Presidency against all odds proves he was not deprived of his share. Minnis on the other hand is at the far end of the other side of the IQ spectrum - Village Dunce!

Goodness Gracious! The Wicked Witch of The West now thinks she's an art critic as she showers her many accolades on a wannabe artist who is a well known scoundrel and tax dodger in the Bahamian community. A man who for many years deducted national insurance contributions from the salaries and wages of his employees but did not remit the deducted amounts to the national insurance board. A man who has been bank rolled and bailed out time and time again by the very greedy Sir Snake because he's willing to carry 'water' for the serpent. Yep, that's the real Wendall Jones we have all come to know. There are few things more humourous than watching crooks scratch the backs of each other. LMAO
Iram Lewis is just another one of Minnis's many corrupt henchmen. By the time all is said and done in this controversial mass burial matter, Bahamian taxpayers will have been fleeced upwards of $300,000+ to unjustly enrich one or more of the FNM party's crooked faithful.
Your enjoyment of that sun, sand and sea assumes you are under age 60 and will be one of the luckier survivors. But in Europe rightnow there're finding many infected individuals under age 60 who are not fairing too well, and many who are suffering from permanent lung damage even if they do manage to survive. They're also finding many seriously infected outliers from the statistical norm in Red China, i.e. individuals under age 60 who do not survive their infection. Not a pretty picture developing as the number of cases in the U.S. begins a steep exponential climb!
