*Repost of earlier mid-March post:*

Sheer greed and complete disregard for human safety resulted in the cruise lines building bigger and bigger ships, to the point where they cannot both be operated profitably and properly cleaned between cruises. To be competitively profitable these monstrous floating hotels must spend a minimum number of days each year at sea loaded with as many passengers as possible. In other words, to continue profitably operating these gigantic ships they must remain as unclean as possible without detection of their filthiness by the human eye. And that's the conundrum the cruise lines now face as public health officials all over the world are coming to the realization that these grossly over-sized ships cannot possibly be profitably operated safely.
These monstrous floating hotels are doomed by their sheer size alone to always be the ideal breeding ground and transmission environment for harmful and/or deadly pathogens like Covid 19. Hopefully public health officials the world over will now put an end to this industry if the foolish patrons of these cruise lines up to now do not do so themselves. And to think Minnis and D'Aguilar have been working over-time since May 2017 to put all of our country's fragile economic eggs in this filthy and greedy industry's basket.

P.S.: And whatever income tax that we might introduce would never be high enough to satisfy these privileged global bureacratic louts. Accordingly, we would find ourselves continuing to be blacklisted, yet again and again with no end to it.

Most of these returning Bahamians were told by officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and/or the Bahamas Consulate in Miami that they would not have to stay at a government-operated quarantine facilty and could self-quarantine at home if they were able to prove having recently tested negative for the Covid-19 virus. But because certain of them were approved to get on board the jammed pack Bahamasair flight on the basis of 'an approval' that they would instead be tested upon their arrival in Bahamas, everyone on the plane had to be quaratined at a guarded government facility upon their arrival in the Bahamas. This is totally ridiculous!

Well over 1,000 have now registered with the Bahamas Consulate in Miami, and many more are expected to register for 'free' repatriation now that the room and board they had paid for at their college or university in North America is coming to an end. Throughout North American there must be many thousands of Bahamians looking to return to home free of charge.

I suspect some of the returning Bahamians are dual nationals, i.e. hold both Bahamian and American citizenship.

@tribanon is one my many alter egos because The Trib now has a battery of lawyers knocking at its door who represent the politically well-connected individuals seeking to silence my voice. Seems my posts must now go through some sort of special screening process at The Trib that is intended to delay my posts for filtering purposes. Not good!

If the likes of Larry Gibson of Colonial Pension Services and Anthony Ferguson of CFAL had any conscience whatsoever they would have declared a moratorium on the ridiculously high administration, investment management and other fees they continue to collect on the declining value of the pensioners' assets under their control.

So now they are saying they were justified in destroying our financial services sector in order to force us to introduce income tax?! I don't think so.

> "We will allow them to be able to sign an agreement that says yes they will go in, they will follow those rules, they will continue to be monitored by the Ministry of Health but then we can be assured there wouldn’t be any issues with ongoing risk to the community by introducing them into the wider Bahamian populace.”
